Part of why I am not excited about Harris as VP is that she kinda bombed in 2020 as a presidential candidate. I think she made some mistakes and made it seem like she was on the fence on major issues. Getting out when she did preserved her political future in my opinion. She is still considered a rising star in the Dem party. If she handles things well as VP she'll be a huge front runner in 2024. Way more than someone like Demmings or Abrams. I share ctm's opinion of Harris. I think she is talented and has a future in National politics even if she stumbled in her campaign for President. Not liking particular Democrats doesn’t make one not a Democrat, but if you weren’t one before and won’t be one after Trump then why even say you’re one now? I actually made a post on here around 2017-2018 that because of the continued actions of the Republicans I am now a card carrying Democrat. I will likely never vote for a Republican at the national level. I’ve never actually voted Republican, but twice I voted independent at the national level. That isn’t happening anymore. That’s just how I perceive her with the way she was flipping on some issues when they hit the spotlight. I’m not saying she’s some terrible person or candidate.
