tgo Posted January 15, 2020 Report Share Posted January 15, 2020 (edited) Ray LaHood was Obama's Secretary of Transportation and one of the two Republicans in the original cabinet, the other being Robert Gates and later Chuck Hagel who is also privately backing Biden and I expect to endorse maybe after the initial primary wave. I hope he brings someone fresh with ideas (like Buttigeig) on to be the VP. I also like the idea of bringing a liberal republican or even a libertarian on board just to hopefully heal some of the wounds of the last several years. One half of the country needs to stop looking at the other half as their enemies. That'll keep the old rust belt dudes who are tired of Trump's shit from flipping to Biden. They need to keep this simple. No big time "socialists" or anyone perceived to be far left. No gays.
