Then I don’t know why you agree with Tgo.  He only supports Biden and a couple other candidates that have no shot.  Everyone else wants to purge people with money and turn this country socialist.

I've not seen his stance this way.  I've seen it as the most probable way to beat Trump.  And I've seen it as a more palpable means to the middle class blue collar workers that Hillary believed was in the hat.

Perhaps tgo has had a harsher stance on the opposition, but he's right in that Biden leads the polls in virtually every demographic against Trump.  This is the case that a lot of people want something they are more familiar with, and healthcare is the primary example.

Make no mistake, people are frustrated with Trump's shenanigans, but the people that won the election for Trump are just looking for someone to represent them but not disrupting what they are comfortable with.

I personally feel, and you can go back to my personal feelings that Trump stood a chance at winning when every liberal on here told me I was crazy, that it's the middle class that needs to feel their president is working for them.  And in the electoral college, it is those swing states that matter....and even now, some blue wall states.  And if anything, just consider the fact Trump broke those critical blue wall states.

Now, I'll admit a more liberal non-establishment candidate might have won those states, but I don't know that.  I do know they are blue collar states, if they have a collar at all.  The person that doesn't appeal to these voters will decide the election.

Don't underestimate their power again.

You would think he could express all of his shitty thoughts and responses in a more concise manner.

They also didn't have 3.5 years worth of the train wreck known as the Trump presidency staring them in the face in 2016.

Anyway, case in point.

Just ignore wg53. Hes another useless millenial who is angry at the world. He's been this way on the board for years.

I think you are over the top with Biden but you arent wrong in why many democratic voters like him.

Maybe somewhat true, but I think it’s really more just the normal progressive vs moderate lines being drawn.

Regardless, luckily football season is starting soon so the Biden news/talk will soon decrease for a time! (bc I’ll be posting more in the football forum instead, to the relief of many I’m sure!).

Gotta argue about something amirite?

I'm glad it's football season.

It’s the widespread assumption, without proof, that a multitude of executives are guilty of fraud vs executives taking advantage of deregulation and weak laws and acting unethically but probably not unlawfully in most cases.

Let’s see the proof before talking about throwing people in jail. I think that’s a problem on both sides at this point with the reactionary and vitriolic calls for enforcement actions against people one side considers unscrupulous or predatory. It’s a pervasively dangerous level of discourse.

It’s not dangerous at all. She isn’t threatening to lock them up without a trial or anything.

If anything she wants executives to have to serve time for committing criminal acts. And anyone should be in favor of that.

For the most part the wealthy are all lining up to get Trump re-elected because they love the tax cuts, gutting of regulation and enforcement.

Trump’s raised more money than all the Democrats combined so far.

Spare me the “oh those poor rich people” BS. They have it better than anyone in the history of the world and all they can think about is getting more at the expense of billions of other people of this planet (and countless more future inhabitants) hurt by Republicans.

Sometimes facts are “divisive.”

Regarding Wis., Michigan, Penn......

Black turnout in 2016 was significantly lower  relative to 2012.

All three states have a significant farm economy, specifically soybeans.

Biden is one of the least inspiring candidates I’ve ever seen. No one even really knows what he stands for.  He doesn’t speak well, is past his prime, and is not someone I would consider to be a great candidate to be president.

Still, watching those who supported Clinton lambast the man should stop, at the very least think twice. With Clinton it was “I’m with her”. With Biden, you’re dealing with an old man trying not to act old who has seen some wild shit and can at least appreciate the human experience. His speech in Iowa the other day was excellent. He was speaking about the soul of our country.

Tgo doesnt exactly say things the the way I would, but I understand and agree with his point. Warren is a divisive candidate. There’s no way around that. She’s going after the rich and trying to break up a lot of big companies. It doesn’t mean she’s wrong; it simply means her message is fairly easy to dilute and attack.

While you all fight over philosophical and policy differences, Republicans, while having narrowed some of their margins, move as a single entity. You can see it very directly on this board. They literally do not argue amongst themselves.

Think to yourself, everyone, and maybe I’m being ridiculous, but think to yourself when is the last time you’ve seen a single conservative poster disagree with another? They don’t argue nuance. They fall right in line.

I think that’s the gamble with Biden versus Warren as it comes to facing Trump. You’re balancing a party that constantly fights with itself. The race is versus a lifetime politician, somewhat newly progressive (Hyde controversy) and is still perceived as status quo. His challenger is a younger, progressive female, who is an eloquent speaker, talking directly to the disenfranchised masses.

The fear is the margins. I fully believe Biden can beat Trump head to head. I don’t think the same thing with Warren. She’s a lot more vulnerable in the Midwest than some would like to believe.

...Trump lost by 3 million votes and is down by 12 in a Fox News poll. I guess Fox is fake news these days, eh?

Trump has been preaching to the choir for 2 1/2 years.  He hasn't even made an effort to expand his coalition of voters.

Warren is more polarizing. She will turn some voters away,  but oddly enough I've warmed up to her. She has some great policy ideas.   Its going to be about beating the tribal GOP that vote GOP no matter way.

I would feel like that would be easier with someone like Biden, but who knows?   I do know I could vote comfortably for Warren right now and not feel bad about it.  I wouldn't have said that a few months ago.  Kudos to her for that anyway.

She appears to be the one candidate on either side whose support is growing.
