Titans sign DE Cameron Wake.

Recommended Posts

It’s all about the contract structure. If his (relatively low, percentage wise) guarantees are almost all in the first year, then this is a perfectly fine deal for a vet pass rusher.

Robinson said he wanted more wolves(or was it dogs lol)and Wake is one along with the rest actually, all aggressive balls out players.

Played about 48% of Dolphins snaps last year. I’d expect the same here.

Definitely think analytics played an important part in JRob/Vrabel deciding to sign Wake, both guys are known for their love of analytics.

As a one (or at most two) year stop gap player this is a solid signing.  Pretty obvious they will look for an edge rusher in one of the first two rounds of the draft.

These newer younger GMs are not building for the future. They load up and try to win right now. Look at the Rams, traded for Cooks, signed Suh and tried to trade for Mack.

Typically teams that come out of the gate with a lot of moves are not playing late into the playoffs and the signings often do not equate to success, including a lot of Robinson free agent signings. Sylvester Williams, Butler(has to be considered FA flop one year in), Lewis, Cypien, Kline...... Some of those are terrible.

We'll see

Wow your reaching, he tried to trade for Cooks and sign Suh, and you drooled all over the Lewis signing. And P.S. despite your bogus claim that they hid him the second half of the season Butler was the top one or two comers in the league the second half of the season.

I sort of like this year's signings though.  Some of those you could predict were bad from the start, like Cyprien, Williams and maybe Klein. There is pressure to win.  Most of this hinges on that guy throwing the football.  He has no real excuses now (they'll add another WR/TE in the draft as well).

Kline was a training camp cut picked up on waivers at the end of preseason.

80 percent of his post was wrong.

Yea I did like the Lewis signing, so did you. He still was a FA disappointment

And my bogus claim they his Butler the 2nd half of the season? You realize Ryan and Jackson were the two starters and Butler came off the bench in the nickel right? That actually happened. Also they matched Jackson up against the opposing best WRs, that happened too.
