OILERMAN
I posted earlier that Robinson was facing pressure this season, a losing season and/or Mariota flaming out and he's not looking too good. This off season so far looks like a bit of a panic to me. luvyablue256, NashvilleNinja, japan, and 6 others 1 3 2

ChemEngr79
Assuming the contract is year to year in structure, then this is a low-risk med-high reward signing. I like it. We got our vet OLB. reo

Needed a slot reciever so he got one of the best ones on the market, needed a guard and he got the best one on the market, needed a vet DE and that’s what he just got. Popular Post Huston
He wont need to play a lot of snaps and is a better pass rusher at 37 then Morgan and Rak combined last year. prine06
The positive is that this seems like the guy they wanted. So just have to trust the plan, which is to probably provide a vet presence for the young guys.
Popular Post Downtown
Wake is just a one year rental to bridge the gap for the youth to step up. Doesn’t affect the cap long term overall and can play to start the season. Seems like an ideal signing as spending big on Houston would tie up money beyond this year. Clearly we’re setting ourselves up to take the best DL or LB at 19. Or even move up to get who really want. Starkiller
For what it’s worth, not all “guaranteed money” is actually guaranteed. We’ll have to see the details but it could be that he has a roster bonus that he won’t actually be around to collect next year. titanskick8851
reo
Vet pass rusher to mentor Landry and a 1st or 2nd round rookie. Also gives us a bit of leeway in case no one is there when we pick. Huston

Starkiller
Aside from potentially the size of the contract, I’m good with adding Wake. They are going to rotate OLBs so they need at least 3 playing major snaps. SuperFreak90, reo, and titanskick8851
