29 years old. A $50 million man just a year or two ago. Green Bay found other options. Might he be ours?

Outside of Justin Houston, the free agent pass rushing options to me are:

1. Markus Golden (Giants are in hot pursuit)

2. Shaquil Barrett

3. Nick Perry

4. Shane Ray (Similar player to Correa imo)

5. John Simon

6. Clay Matthews

7. Cameron Wake

Our current OLBs are:  Landry, Finch, Correa, Troy Lewis, and Gimal President

I think I could be fine with Landry, Finch, Correa if we target Edge early in rounds 1 or 2 as long as we make some more key free agent additions on both sides of the line.

We been looking at a lot of late round edge players, I wouldn't be surprised JRob is targeting another Finch type player.

Thing to remember is a guy like Evans normally comes off the field when we go nickel but could move to the edge on occasion.  There are ways to get around having an every down OLB/DE out there.  We know Landry is going to start.  I think it is absurd to worry about a 2nd year player like him being ready.  He better be.  Jrob has had some success bringing in UDFA and late round picks who might contribute.  Aaron Wallace didn't work out but showed some promise.  Plus we will obviously look at an edge guy in the first three rounds.  We will probably see some edge by committee until we define the starter across from Landry.  I wouldn't bring in a trash vet just to have experience.  So yea, draft and edge guy fairly early (hoping we bag another guy like Landry) and look for another Finch.  I still say Finch might be underrated here.  Could be a real player for us.

The more I think about it, the more I think Perry could be a great option if he came in at under 8-9M a year.

Like him coming out but looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane.  Not sure I see much if anything better than what Morgan would give us.  Had two good seasons out of 8.  Horrible last season.  Even worse than Morgan.
