You mean how many more deserving students, regardless of race, color, or creed.

Sure why not. That non-existing conservative sense of humor strikes again.

I took a math test for a friend once in college to qualify him for college math.  The test was so simple, l didn't have to study.  Anybody who couldn't pass it didn't need to be in college.  His parents had a lot of $$$$.

Man - you fucked over some student that deserved to be there so that your friend who had no business going could get in.

They're getting most of the press, but they'll just get a slap on the wrist.

The college coaches, SAT/ACT test administrators, the surrogate test takers, and the agents that accepted and passed on the bribes are the ones that are going to do hard time.  What they did was totally fucked up.  Fake athletic profiles, doctored SAT tests, surrogate test takers, phony charities that were served as fronts for the bribes, etc... They have phone transcripts, bank records, you name it.

The coaches were all fired as soon as the news broke of the racketeering indictments.  Racketeering!!

Yup. These people are so fucked. White collar crimes but still, so much evidence.

That's horrible.

We tend to live in a country where the larger ideology has no trouble over penalizing and criminalizing the poor. It's unfortunate. In comparing cases like these, we can see how our cultural mindset is fundamentally broken.

Aunt Becky got hit with a $1 million bond. She’s not just getting a “slap on the wrist”.

You know, what happened to the good old days when all you had to do was hire some hot escort or porn star to give the admissions officer a blow job?  Life was so much simpler back then.
