tgo
There are a top few FA's that are still out there that have not had any teams connected to them - curious where they'll go. Justin Houston, Ndamukong Suh, Randall Cobb among them. titanruss, and Justafan

tgo
And there are still dozens of guys out there who could help our team for cheap. As @OILERMAN mentioned, we now have no FB or HB on the roster at all. Our current TEs have no experience or known ability to play this role. Ryan Hewitt from the Colts is a true H-back and then Tommy Bohanon and Anthony Sherman are out there as fullbacks. There's a plethora of backup QBs, OL, DL, starting WRs still out there. Chris Hogan, Jermaine Kearse, Crabtree, LaFell, Garcon, Inman. Blocking TEs like Toilolo and Hoomanawanaui, and Logan Paulsen. NTs like Shelton, Peko, McGee, Ngata. Other DL like Jernigan, Allen Bailey, Liuget, Philon, Urban. Not saying we should be trying to sign any of the WRs necessarily, but there are guys out there still that we're probably looking at amongst these positions. tgo
As a side note, I bet Stocker is a better fit for a man blocking run scheme, and I bet Paulsen with the Falcons is a better fit for a zone blocking run scheme. Maybe we should just switch them out? Edited March 15, 2019 by tgo

Yeah, unless of course Hockenson will be our new inline TE! TitanDuckFan, and Justafan

With Wake now on the roster, I'm warming to the idea of Hockenson at 19. I have no idea what to think about Delanie. I don't want to write Walker off, he's been the offense's best player but 35 coming off that injury. Projecting based on history is not encouraging. I mean, I'm assuming Walker comes back relatively "full strength" this year, albeit slightly dimished due to age and missing a year. But even so, he's not a true inline tight end. And by the way, even if Hockenson were drafted, we'd still probably need an H-Back or FB. I really want to draft Trevon Wesco regardless of what else happens, unless we sign a real H back like Hewitt or a fullback like Anthony Sherman or Bohanon. I think if you want a strong, intricate run, truly versatile offense and run game, you need a true inline TE, a move tight end, AND an H-back or FB. A true blocking TE who could catch the occasional pass is a need. I'd like to see a FB and just some nasty blocking guys who can help out Henry. I want to see an offense that is just really really tough to stop on 3rd down which compliments a nasty defense. If they want that inline TE to be a pass threat as well, then I think Hockenson becomes more attractive. He's a fantastic prospect. tgo
Not sure we should be taking chances with "what-ifs" this year. We need to be competing for a championship by whatever means necessary. titanskick8851
