StephenIsLegend
I could see this happening. I won’t hold my breath, but it’s intriguing. I will say that I like the JRob keeps the team in on these races for bigtime players.

AussieTitanFan08
Throw this in here as well, AB isn't the only known WR target for the Raiders.

A generational talent? OBJ, Jones, and Hopkins can all claim to have as much talent and possibly as much impact as on games over the past 3-5 years. Randy Moss and Calvin Johnson recently retired. Brown’s gaudy stays reflect his talent, but also his “generational” situation with Roethlosberger, Bell, and an uncanny WR core around him. Conklin wasn’t a top-5 pick. But yeah, from a top-10 OT the expectation is that he’s at least a cornerstone on the level of Hopkins or Roos. Get out of here with that Bruce Matthews straw man shit. reo
If the titans were offering a 1st, it'd probably be done already.

Thrill
Why would a team give any guaranteed money to him? Is this just an assumed stipulation to make him happier?

Unless the Steelers think the raiders/redskins could up the anti. They both have higher picks in the draft and additional picks later on.

Titans279
Tyrell Williams is not very good though. Am I missing something? CaliTitan3518, and IsntLifeFunny
titaninpgh
1 hour ago, reo said: Disagree completely. They don't want to wait on a rookie but want to improve the WRs so they bring in a vet. Who better than Brown? Personally I think he's a diva and will be too expensive but I'll trust them if their think they can do it. If you believe Davis is a true WR1, then you don’t bring in someone of Brown’s pedigree. Davis would have no choice but to take a back seat to a player with Brown’s gravitas. This offense will never be on the level of the Steelers, at least not with Mariota as QB; this offense doesn’t have enough targets to spread between a Brown and a Smith-Schuster (not to mention their other talented WRs). If you want a vet WR to complement rather than surpass Davis, then Tate or Williams make much more sense. When is the last time a team had a top-echelon WR and then added another top-echelon WR via free agency or trade? Teams frequently draft a second one but it’s extremely rare to bring in a more experienced one.
