Stranger
Would you support a consolation bowl in place of the pro bowl? Maybe the winner of the Saints Chiefs would get the 29th pick instead of the 30th pick in the draft as incentive. Thoughts?
No1TitansFan
Players association wouldn't go for it unless there was a very healthy financial incentive for both teams and even then I tend to think they would still be reluctant.

TitansFan23
Would you elect EG or Wycheck?
HOTT
There used to be a "Consolation Bowl". Don't call how many years they played it. It obviously wasn't very popular since it was discontinued. I'd take just about anything over the Pro Bowl. Actually it may have been called the Runnerup Bowl. Just checked--it was called the Playoff Bowl. There were three of them played.
Number9
No. Stanley Cup. World Series. NBA Championship. Nobody wants to be the winner of the consolation game. The NFL is too violent of a sport to have players hurt playing for third place. It's also too violent to have a Pro Bowl.
