You guys will latch on to anything. Sure he is, Chris Johnson wouldn't have 2006 yards without Mawae. Quit hating

They don’t choose a team like mlb does but they designated a team for the media. Not sure if the player actually gets to pick that. TO was an Eagle in all the marketing photos for the HOF and he said he had nothing to do with that. That was TO though so I’m sure they ask players how to they would to be represented. Quit hating Mawae would still be in the Hall without his tenure on the Titans, no fucking way he is in the hall without the first portion of his career. It's not hating to acknowledge that 95% of football fans don't view him as "a Titan", acting like that 2k season had that much an impact on his career accomplishment is ridiculously biased Edited February 3, 2019 by wiscotitansfan oldschool
wiscotitansfan
And let's all be real here, how would a player get inducted to the Hall of Fame but not their team's Ring of Honor? Mawae's name is in the Jets stadium
abenjami
If you asked 100 random football fans who the center was the year Chris Johnson rushed for 2,000 yards, I would bet less than 20% would know.
BudsOilers
Well Hutchison will get elected in the next year or so. Yay another Titan with zero Oiler ties. Like that’s even a thing. Same franchise whether the Tennessee fans like it or not. oldschool, charleytolar, CreepingDeath, and 1 other 2

SuperFreak90
Kevin Mawae wouldn't have made the HOF with just his Jets and Seahawks career. Him blocking for CJ2K, and the 2000 yard season helped put him in too. Quit discounting what he did with the Titans, it all counts. oldschool
