Some dudes beat and rape their wives. Some dudes like Manafort force their wives to participate in gang bangs. We shouldn't "publicly endorse" their lifestyle

.....and then there is Roger Stone.  What are the changes that some of the terabytes of data that Mueller recovered are his home porn videos?

Rarely is a point I make here proven almost immediately like this.

I’d say Trump being president is just more proof that there is no god...

Everything you post is littered with stupidity.

What he did was not illegal and was legally consensual. What would I need to give a him a pass on? His retarded 10 commandments rock? No pass here.

You tards want to act like he somehow cancels out your rapist heroes like Harvey Weinstein. no he did not.

This is the difference between me and a libtard. When I heard that Moore around age 30 dated high school girls age 16 am 17 I used the internet to look up the age of consent in that state. If the girl he was dating was of age(16 or older) and her parents approved of her dating the guy there is little to complain about.

Yep, RKelly fan.

From a biblical point of view it is totally wrong.   From a secular point of view, homosexuals engage in destructive behavior that causes them to be more sickly, depressed, and die younger.   This is an undeniable fact.  No way we should promote this behavior as normal and just an alternative acceptable lifestyle.   No way you should ever want a loved one to be a homosexual.   Marriage is just another step in saying that it is ok, when it is not something we should promote in any way.  They can certainly live their life as they chose behind the doors on their own home, but there is no reason to publicly endorse their lifestyle.

Like it or not, marriage is a contract. Why you’re saying is you want to prohibit 2 consenting adults from entering into a contract. I have a gay aunt. She has no ailments causally connected to her homosexuality. I’ve never said “I hope someone is gay.” I accept people for who they are. My aunt is gay. It’s who she is. I accept her and love her no matter what. I have a daughter. I don’t “hope” she’s gay; i also don’t “hope” she’s straight. I want my daughter to be herself, and I will love her regardless of her sexuality.

Obviously, God wanted Trump to be elected to show just what kind of egotistical, ethicless, narcissists jackass the American people will elect.

Prove it wrong.

Agree. Also, if God wanted Trump to be president, the only logical reason would be to show the Evangelicals how easily they would sell their souls to the devil for earthly things like political power and greed.

LittleEarl and his ilk decry the promiscuity of gay people yet get up in arms about the suggestion that they should be allowed to marry...

It's similar to their stance on abortion and the social safety net. Up in arms about abortion, but once a person is outside of the womb, do everything in their power to prevent affordable healthcare, education, and a clean environment.

Christians have been making that claim for 2000 years.  Originally claiming it would happen in the lifetime of the apostles even though the gospels weren't even written until after they were all dead.

It will always amaze me how Christians can so easily see the fallacy in EVERY other religion and dead religion on earth and simply fail to comprehend that that theirs is EXACTLY the same.

Well, my post was a joke response to SK's post so you're barking up the wrong tree. And beyond that I have no desire to debate religion or people's hang ups over religion and what Christians may/may not have claimed or see/don't see. It's more than enough to debate against people's beliefs and narratives on this forum as it relates to football without getting into politics and religion.

Roy Moore did not rape anybody. The age of consent in Alabama was and is 16.

As far as republicans wanting to go back to the 1950s there is some truth to that. Fewer babies being killed in the womb and fewer single parent families.

I see no evidence that the republican party or a large number of top republicans advocate a return to segregation in any form. Anybody who says that is a damn liar.

So it would be okay for Roy Moore to bang your 16 year old daughter if you had one?
