This is a strong draft for interior guys but as usual people always think they guy who hasn't played a down yet is better than anyone else.  Since we pick at #19 it has to be part of the consideration.  The crème of the interior guys will be gone.

this is a deep class and they guys picked after they top 2 could end up being just as good or better

The 2nd rounder isn't the issue. The Jets are trying to trade him because he's about to require a massive long term deal

My Dad took a year off of season tix for the first time in qtr a decade this year, they're actually giving him better seats for cheaper next year now lol. But I still see the Jets a lot, more then eno

I disagree.  There will be guys available at 19 that would be a top 10 pick in other drafts.  Just because other guys will be gone doesn't mean you can't get your guy.  This draft aligns well with the

It is best to have more good players, right?  If this draft is good at DL, then why not strengthen ours with two shots?  Further, if we cover a need in FA, that opens us up to improving at other areas.

If he was JJ Watt no question but hes not and I really dont see us fork out a huge contract for a 5 tech at the moment. The scheme is designed to have the LBs make the plays

Watt is 30 years old and has a crap ton of injuries. He is overrated and never shows up when his team really needs him. Id pass. We need youth on the defense at this point not guys who are liable to fall apart at any moment.

He’s a good not yet dominant player but still has the potential and hasn’t reached his peak..  and he stays out of trouble yeah?

Its worth a second and he will be expensive but shouldn’t get top 3 money.

Pretty much everything you want to build team's around. Good enough to completely change the outcome of drives and potentially games but not expensive enough to be an unnecessary luxury... All while likely improving over the course of his contract.

And we've done so well with our top 10 picks, how could we pass up that opportunity at 19....

And watch those defenders be gone and us take Metcalf or Brown or some shit.

Go be a Steelers fan then.

Fuck no

Why? We get a stud pass rusher and DL for pick 19 and a #2 WR and move up in round 3

are you thinking we could get equal DL at 19 for way cheaper for 5 years and find an equal WR one FA and draft for a fraction?
