Hindsight is 20-20, but we hope JRob has a pretty good crystal ball. If continuity for Mariota was a concern, LaFleur as HC would have done it.

Can't seem to be able to remove the pics below... weird.

Why ask this

continuity for Mariota, more forward looking (like Green Bay?), just interested in what people think.

I voted no, in hindsight.

Robinson said on the radio that they didn't expect him to leave after only 1 year.

No idea who is staff would be, his oc or dc so its irrelevant. Likely woudve had a worse record.

I wonder if he would have called plays himself ala McVay, guess we will find out what he does in Green Bay soon.

I misunderstood the question. I read "for OC" instead of "HC" for some reason.

And Robinson shouldn't have hired him for either.

Vrabel has a chance to be a top coach in this league.

I have my reservations about LaFleur as a HC.  Maybe he'll succeed because of Rodgers but will the locker room listen to him?

I like vrabel but it's hard to argue against an offensive HC with the way the game is played now.

Our success this year had little to do with having an offensive HC though.

Same with the last two years.

It had so much more to do with multiple "intangible" factors attributable to Vrabel's leadership and the guys we have on the team.

We've been winning in spite of our offensive woes, because of the intangible things Vrabel and Mularkey have brought to the table.

I suspect vrabel interceded with the offense a few times. That's the problem with a def HC. They are usually too conservative.
