The Titans had one of the highest drop rates in the league. We literally lost a game because our fucking practice squad caliber wide receiver who shouldn't have even been on the team let it go right t

It's the OL and it's not even close. The question isn't "which is the worst unit on the team". If that were the question then sure, it's the wideouts. However, in order to call what happened to the re

This puts the onus on Robinson for not doing more at the WR position

Well, we needed one more win to make the playoffs. The WR position really let us down and (sadly) if Matthews were our No. 2, we would have most likely won 2 additional games. So looking at that dumpster fire of a situation, you gotta say WR was the biggest let-down or miscalculation.

Jones is a decent 3-4 End. I'd still take Raekwom Davis if he's there when we pick.

Well the good thing about Jones is that he could move to nose and plays decently there if we get a better 5 technique.

We lost the BUF game because Nick Williams dropped a GW TD.  Win that one and we make the playoffs, I think.

Most people just explained the disparity away by saying "because Lewis sucks" which bullshit. That said, if Duck is right then that makes Lewis a bit of a mis-fit for this running scheme.

That's called lazy analysis and message boards tend to be rife with it.  TR is no exception.

But you knew that.

Having said that, I may be way off about why Lewis fell off the cliff, but I don't think so.

But I also believe there were other factors, like his overuse for one.  He's not built to be an everydown back, and the touches were piling up and taking their toll.

He certainly seemed to have lost a step in the last couple of games, as he didn't have it in the open field like he did early in the season.

But like you said, if they can teach him to succeed behind a ZBS, he'll still have some value as a 3rd down back, as a decoy and a runner and a receiver.  If not, he may need to find a new home.

TE? Lol sheesh.

I think he believed (like the rest of us) that Jonnu would take the next step much earlier than he did, and didn't foresee DW going down with a season ending injury (especially in game one).  If those two things had played out the way we anticipated the TE corps would have been making big time plays long before the bye.

As blockers and pass-catchers.

At least Jonnu eventually did step up.  Guys like Taywan and Kline never really did.  They were making many of the same mistakes at the end of the season they were at the start.  Conk either never fully recovered or he's just not cut out to play RT in a ZBS.

In other words, you're embellishing to make it suit your agenda. Mariota had the highest percentage of sacks per drop back. Are we clear?

LOL,...  This is TR.

That's not how it works.

It's whatever hyperbole you can sell at any given moment to build your chosen narrative.
