These hands don't tell the #bb.  The second could be a shove on the flop or a fold.

In the 2nd hand I posted BB was 1600, I started the hand with 50Kish

Shoving 44k into a 13k pot pretty bad and how on Earth are you folding AK on an A62 flop on the flop? I bet and the guy called.

I'm at the WSOP.  There were 7,761 entries, I cashed for close to 5K.  It was amazing this time.  This was my second Millionaire Maker.  I practiced and studied for two months.  My problem somewhat is

I just played the WSOP Millionaire Maker in Vegas, knocked out 2nd day 265th place, win $5990.  There were 7,275 entries.  I played with some top professionals, I didn't know any of them.  The photogr

OK.  Ready to talk about it.  I got knocked out day one.   I didn't get very many good hands.  I had two nice pots that would have put me back over the 50K starting stack and I played both very well.

Reading this thread is like listening to Kenny Rodgers talk in the mirror to himself.  LOL

You're in it quite a bit and even proclaimed it was making you want to play at one point

Oh I know, I'm just giving you and @Number9 a hard time.

No hard time to me.  Poker will steal your soul.  It will also set you on cloud 9.

True story::A kid at the WSOP cashed $125,000 in a tournament!  WSOP pays Cash.  He lost all of it playing at the Belage in less than 24hrs.

Poker is fun. Everybody loses at the crap table. everybody.  Old crap shooter who was buying 100$ chips and having a ball told me.  "I know I am going to lose.  It's about losing with style."

Played in the Winstar Saturday deep stack, close to 100 players, buy in was 300.00.

Top 9 pay and we're down to 7 players. 9th paid 682.00 and 1st was 7600. 7 spots for a chop is 2700 each, I refuse because @abenjami was talking shit in this thread. I was going to play it out and go for the win.

But we get 3 handed and a chop pays me more than 2nd place plus by winning $4993.00 I'm under the 1099 limit of 5k.

So I still didn't get 1st but I have won 5k twice in the last 6 months or so!

Just completely card dead for about 2 hours 9 handed with no real spots to pick up chips

That's playing poker.  If you can sit for hours and keep to your ranges you are kicking ass.  You sit there for an hour with nothing, then boom QTss UTG.  If you can play that correctly, you can win.  Cards will eventually come.  Look like you played the hands you got pretty good!

There is currently a WSOP series going on at Choctaw, these usually have around 20 ring events with 70-80 overall tournaments when you count all the smaller/nightly ones.

This guy, Sergio Ramirez has won 4 of them, which is incredible. They were between 12k-29k

Is luck involved in poker, absolutely, long term you better believe it's skill

That has to be a record in modern times.  Hell, it's hard to win four big pots in a row.

The record is 16 rings won by a player, but this is over several series and years. I bet 4 in one series is a record.
