I was once 1 seat off the bubble to get into the Red Rock game in Australia. My girlfriend came in and started bitching at me to get off and help with groceries. I told her I was in a big tourney and to hold on. Had A K off. The bitch threw my PC into the wall and broke it. I lost 1 off the ticket.

I'm at the WSOP.  There were 7,761 entries, I cashed for close to 5K.  It was amazing this time.  This was my second Millionaire Maker.  I practiced and studied for two months.  My problem somewhat is

I just played the WSOP Millionaire Maker in Vegas, knocked out 2nd day 265th place, win $5990.  There were 7,275 entries.  I played with some top professionals, I didn't know any of them.  The photogr

OK.  Ready to talk about it.  I got knocked out day one.   I didn't get very many good hands.  I had two nice pots that would have put me back over the 50K starting stack and I played both very well.

Played the Saturday deep stack yesterday. The Casino is giving away a WPT main event seat(3700.00) to the winner so the field's have been huge. There were 174 yesterday, top 18 cash. 1st place was 7500.00 plus the 3700 seat.

I pretty much just stay average throughout, get lucky in big blind flopping a straight and get paid off.....

We get down to two tables(20 people) and I'm in late position, the cut off, one from the button. I get KK. I open shove all in, it looks weaker and more like a steal versus a standard raise. The big blind calls with A-10 and spikes the A.

Played 9 hours too

This is the brutality of tournament poker.

I'm playing a WSOP event next Friday

Good Luck!  I played four in Cherokee.  Zero cashes.  The Monsterstack.  I had A7dd, 30bb.  I'm BB.  UTG Open 2bb. Button calls.   I call 1bb w/9 in pot, flop AT6rb.  I check, UTG bets 5bb, But. calls, I shove.  UTG folds.  Button thinks about it, decides to call.  Button turns over KT.  MF calls most of his stack with second pair to my shove.  Of course a K comes on the turn.

That's what you want, to get it in with the best hand and get sucked out on.  I have a hard time with the concept.  I don't mind sucking out on people.  It's getting sucked out on that I have a problem with.

I'm going to the WSOP to play cash.  If I'm running hot, I will play the Millionaire Maker.  Maybe a satty into the Main.

Had I known sooner I would have played in this WSOP event

Event #3: The big 50. It's a 500.00 buy in, there are 28,371 entrants(most ever) and the prize pool is $13,509,435(most ever for 500.00 or less buy in)

First is over 1.4 mill

It's this year's Colossus.  I think everybody who moved to the next day got paid.

Tough experience last evening.  I was on a hard table, 2/5 1,000 max.  The very first hand BB, I flatted 99, w/5 players in for $35 each.  Flop AA6, checked around, turn 4, original raiser bet 50, I fold, one call.  River an A, they chop pot w/A full of 6's.  It was about $300 pot.  After that I could not win a hand, my game was not working.  I was getting floated with small pairs, not one c-bet brought a fold.  I open, call/calls.  I was uncomfortable.  Nothing.  I'm down $450-500.

I took a couple of walks, still unsettled.

I finally decided, I lose another pot I am done.  A nice pot was building and the guy next to me who was playing a lot of pots raised the c-bet $125 on the flop.  Again, as usual I hit squat.  I thought about it and said "all in"  Fold, fold. He talked and tanked for a few minutes and folded.  I finally broke down and admitted to him that I had a set.  A few hands later I nearly cleaned out what he had left w/JJJ.

I still felt uncomfortable.  I kept looking around the table and I didn't see a spot, not one.  I told a friendly guy next to me who plays there often about how I wasn't comfortable and he told me this is a tough table.  I took a couple of more hands and left up $450 after playing three hours.  When you can't spot a fish at the table, guess what?

Just returned from WSOP a few days ago.  I had a very productive trip.  I didn't play any tournaments.  I have lost the patience for 12 hour WSOP tournament day.  I just played cash games, won what I would be bragging about if my tournament profits were that good.  I'll still play the circuit senior events and maybe one like the monster stack during the week.  Vegas at the Rio is a job in itself.  I didn't even go down there this year.

Heads up.  One of the players got robbed at the Rio parking lot, 10K maybe.  Be careful down there or in any isolated place.  If you drive, us the valet.
