2019 Roster Analysis - DEFENSE

Recommended Posts

Kyle021

Agree.

If a big name like Clark or Ford make it in FA you throw the bank at him. If not you sign a solid guy like Lynch to replace Orakpo and draft an edge high.

Interior DL needs to be addressed in the 2-3 rounds bc the player we get there will be as good as any FA we sign at a fraction.

Resign Vaccaro, and restructure Ryan and extend Byard.

Huston

They need to get longer and more athletic at the end potions and outside linebacker and the defense could be better then the Ravens were last year.

Rashan Gary if he's there at our pick can play both 5 and 3; put him inside in passing situations next to Casey and we'd see that inside push that we didn't this year. Underachieved some this year due to injury, may drop a little.

Pass rushers are the big priority here.

They need a new OLB to go with Landry. Maybe 2, as Landry may be better off as a passing down specialist and not a starter. Morgan could come back but I hope they look for a replacement.

And DL is always a need. Casey is their only good one and he is getting older.

Re-sign Vaccaro and dump Cyp.

He's a damn Aussie and don't let him into your fantasy baseball league.

100 on all your points. Completely agree.

What about my British?

No mate. I am not British.

It was car park and fit instead of parking lot and healthy.

I thought Jones played pretty solidly this year, and while he's no Casey, I think he's better than average.

Overall though, I agree.  Pretty awesome how JRob took LB from a weakness to a strength in a very short period of time.

And Woodyard may be my favorite defensive player.
