Why brick and mortar stores are failing

Recommended Posts

So the retail store I work at immediately slashes online returns to 50% off and throws it in clearance. Any item we dont sell in store.

Yesterday I got an Xbox One S 1TB with NBA2k19 for $130.

First, I absolutely dislike Xbox. But this deal was too good to pass up. I'm hoping to resell for around $200. But if not, I got a package that is going for about $280 (lowest I seen from Walmart) for $150 cheaper.

Stores that do that with completely good/still new items are just dumb. Online retail might be hurting, but dumb shit like that is in no way helping. They had to have taken a loss on that.
