Is Oldschool going without a paycheck during the government partial shutdown?

Recommended Posts

During the shutdown, it sucks to have a job for the government.  Either you are out of work indefinitely and therefore not earning a paycheck, or you are working but not getting paid anyway, in which case they “promise” they will pay you later.  But how would anyone feel about working for a company that was unable to meet payday?

As an unpaid intern, @oldschool doesn’t understand any of this anyway.

I'm in the private sector, lol.

I work for a govt contractor, with my main program in support of the DOA.   Fortunately they not working does not stop us from working or being paid.

Damn, someone has some serious anger issues.

Yup.  Posting your own phone number online and threatening to fight some other poster in that other (now closed) thread as well.
