9 Nines
Warning about Netgear products. They come with a 1 year warranty that is really a 90 day warranty. You only get 90 days of phone support. If your item has a problem after that you would have to buy 6 months phone support or 2 year phone support for $80 or $200, respectively, to receive any support and you cannot get an RMA without first troubleshooting the item via the phone support. Netgear claims you can do an RMA via email support which is free but based on numerous reviews and forums messages I read, the email support directs you to phone support before any RMA can be processed. As common a you find Netgear products in retail channels, I am surprised consumer groups and states attorneys general have not gone after this scam.
