President Trump told the White House counsel in the spring that he wanted to order the Justice Department to prosecute two of his political adversaries: his 2016 challenger, Hillary Clinton, and the former F.B.I. director James B. Comey, according to two people familiar with the conversation.

The lawyer, Donald F. McGahn II, rebuffed the president, saying that he had no authority to order a prosecution. Mr. McGahn said that while he could request an investigation, that too could prompt accusations of abuse of power. To underscore his point, Mr. McGahn had White House lawyers write a memo for Mr. Trump warning that if he asked law enforcement to investigate his rivals, he could face a range of consequences, including possible impeachment.

If only the Republicans had control of all three branches of the government for two years, they could have investigated her alleged crimes. Not one person can explain why this did not happen, jus

This right here sums up Trump supporters and everything they believe in and want. There is no reasoning with these people when the above post is their goal and what they want to happen to achieve that

I guarantee this conversation was done with some sort of shiny graphics with bolded points and a lot of exclamations. Something along the lines of:

This is called Obstruction of Justice!!!!

Both sides have plenty of skeletons in their closet. If one side goes, the other goes down with it. Mutually assured destruction, and they know it. That is your uni-party.

Trump never had any intention of prosecuting past misdeeds after the election and even said as much, he wanted to move forward. However, as the Special Counsel became more rogue, Dems became more belligerent in their language toward the Trump family, POTUS once again revived the crooked Hillary narrative and threatened to start investigating.

Then the mid-term came and went and he once again threatened the Left that if they wanted to go down this road of constant hearings, he would retaliate. How this ends, who knows, but Trump is fighting a very one sided fight and they have much more to lose than him.

If they do come after his family, it could get ugly. I hope he pushes the line of executive power to make the other side suffer.

Yet he’s still leading “lock her up” chants. Lol. God damn you’re so fucking transparent.

They legitimately want a dictator while at the same time acting as if they back the Constitution. It’s mind boggling.
