Exactly. Butler, Ryan, and Jackson are more than adequate for a Top 3 set of CB’s, especially given how great Byard is at FS and able to help out.

Pass rush is the much greater defensive need.

You can love Vrabel or hate Vrabel but he's earned respect.  That dude puts in the work and he's as real as it gets.  Happiest I've been with a HC that I can ever remember.  I hope he puts it all toge

The ESPN Titans draft coverage truly is embarrassing, less than a week out from the draft they hold a prime time mock draft special as a dress rehearsal for their actual draft coverage with McShay &am

The Titans played 2 TE sets on 26% of sets last year.  They played 3TE on 13% of plays.  They played 3WR on 58% of plays.  SO, a few things here.     1.  They were only successful in 3WR set

A lot of tools to develop with Brian Burns, not many have the first step quickness he has, wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make it to pick #19 with his physical traits.

If JRob can find a decent edge containing OLB in FA I wouldn't be opposed to drafting Burns at #19 and using him as a situational pass rusher until he fills that frame out and improves against the run.

Good thread here showing a selection of his pass rushing moves.

Love this kid. He has been one of my favorite prospects along with Hockenson, Bradbury, and Tillery. I have a good feeling he is going to blow the combine out of the water and jump up to the a top 10-20 selection. If he is there at 19 I would be all for taking him even if we have added a starting OLB in Free Agency. Him, Landry, Evans, Brown, and say ZaDarius Smith could line-up in a multitude of spots on 3rd downs and bring exotic blitzes.

Here are the other videos on Burns from Austin Gayle

I'm not saying they need a CB but the idea Butler was so good the 2nd half is way overstated.

Butler was reduced to being the 3rd CB the 2nd half, Ryan started in the base defense over Butler. It's not a big deal since they usually play 3 CBs but they also didn't put Butler on opposing top WRs. Jackson did, he did well vs Gordon but was roasted by Hilton. If Butler played up to his contract he would have been asked to cover these guys.

Was Butler better? Yes but he was also asked to do less and the team protected him. Which I'm not knocking since his contract guarantees he's on the roster.

I believe after filling the holes at OLB/Veteran WR in FA, JRob needs to turn his attention to the offense early in the draft, we haven't had a top 10 scoring offense since 2003, He needs to give Arthur Smith the pieces he needs to run his offense.

A dual threat TE and mobile/nasty elite run blocking OG should be the priorities in the first round, the 4 guys JRob should target are.

Hockenson

Irv Smith Jnr

Ford

Lindstrom
