The percentage of Democrats identifying as liberal averaged 51% in 2018, up from 50% in 2017, marking the first time a majority of Democrats have adopted this term, following gradual increases since the 1990s.

I doubt the numbers have changed much over the last year. It would be more accurate to see who supports which policies as opposed to see what labels people use.

This is the 2nd poll in as many months showing the opposite. Maybe reality is closer to 50/50.

Amigo, there has to be a transition that isn’t strictly Medicare for All, regardless of how the bill is written. I’ve supported Medicare for All for a long time now. I still support it. When speaking

I know some people don't want to hear it, but it's going to be Bernie and if it is, he's gonna win.

I understand. But that's what I find so interesting. While we are here in this moment with Donald Trump as the President of the United States........FOR REAL, we need to understand exactly how that happened. And expose whatever forces made that possible.

Since January of 2017.

We've had 4 different people who've had the title Secretary of Defense (acting included).

We've had at least 3 different people with the title of Attorney General (acting included).

We've had 3 different people who've had the title Secretary of State (acting included).

That's 10 different people in less than 3 years who've held some of the highest positions in the entire government.

I want to understand, how we as a country allowed this level of dysfunction to take place.

What I suspect and hope is true... .complete Fluke.   Random events converging at right time to create a near catastrophe...

Inslee just dropped out — announced on Maddow’s show.  I imagine all those who don’t make the next debate will do the same soon.

Yep, he will have plenty others joining him soon. Though anyone who thinks they could make the 4th debate may hold on for another month.

I bet a few true bottom tier candidates like Bullock, Gillibrand, Tim Ryan, Bennett, etc. will hang around trying to make the Oct debate.

Bullock seems or seemed to be the most sensible and best qualified candidate. He is the right age(53), has held state wide office for 10 years. Is a very popular governor in a right leaning state that voted for Trump.

There are some things on his web page that suggest he might not understand business well enough but he is not a hardcore socialist.

Democrats do not want a person like Steve Bullock any longer. Too white, too male and not an ardent socialist.

Bullock is more white and more male than Joe Biden?

Do you democrats even read the economic plans for any of these candidates? Andrew Yang is not the only one promoting universal income. Almost all of them are just on a smaller scale. Almost all of them are calling for child and family tax credits that most Americans would qualify for. They all want to expand the earned income tax credit.

According to Julian Castro's web page a person making $18,000 a year would get $3000 in these tax credits and a single parent making $40,000 a year would get almost $6000.

The earned income tax credit and child tax credits have been around a while but we are moving away from just helping poor people with their groceries, school meals or helping with rent. Now they all support just handing people money.

Get real.

None of that stuff is ever going to pass the Senate and you know that.

Just like the boarder wall didn't pass the House.

It's all talk.

That’s been my take on her since day one and why she can’t seem to progress.  She’s all calculation and no purpose.

As much as Biden can be calculating - his personality and style still gives off a sense that he cares.  Harris hasn’t done that

That’s just politics.

Harris is a particularly hollow politician without scruples as is well documented in political circles throughout her career.
