Amigo, there has to be a transition that isn’t strictly Medicare for All, regardless of how the bill is written. I’ve supported Medicare for All for a long time now. I still support it. When speaking

I know some people don't want to hear it, but it's going to be Bernie and if it is, he's gonna win.

Long article with a few perspectives on Medicare for All and big labor

Joe Biden and other moderate Democratic candidates opposed to “Medicare for All” have cast the plan as anti-labor, arguing it would leave union members worse off by stripping them of the health care benefits they painstakingly negotiated.

But not all labor unions agree.  Only a few major unions have come out against the single-payer system that would all but eliminate private insurance, while many others remain undecided and some of the biggest labor groups in the country have embraced the plan.

Those supporting Medicare for All — or at least not yet ruling it out — say health care increasingly dominates contract battles, consuming bargaining power that could instead be directed toward raising wages and improving working conditions,...

It really is amazing to me how successful Bernie has been at moving the Democrats left. Endorsing universal free pre-K to own the socialists!

Bernie's made the centrist Democratic position, well except for Biden, some form of universal health care and free pre-K (among many other big moves left on virtually every issue).

If this holds up he'll be one of the most consequential left politicians in a very long time (have to say left since he's "not a Democrat"). Much bigger than Clinton or even Obama potentially.

What do you mean by that?

Biden wants free community college and free pre-school. He also supports universal healthcare by way of a public option to cover anyone who doesn't like their private plan or doesn't have health insurance.

And yes, there is absolutely no doubt at how much Sanders has moved the political spectrum in a short period of time.

Just that his plan isn’t universal health care since it doesn’t cover everyone. Even he admits it would leave some people uncovered.

It’s still way closer than anything has been in the US but still technically falls a little short of universal health care.

Yeah, it's universal sans like 2-4%, but yes, technically correct.

The other non-MFA plans are just not being honest about the small % that would be left out of any non single payer plan.

Warren has a strong Twitter game though

Elizabeth Warren is a hate-peddling pathological liar who shouldn’t be within 10 miles of the Oval Office.

Warren tweet:

"5 years ago Michael Brown was murdered by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri. Michael was unarmed yet he was shot 6 times. I stand with activists and organizers who continue the fight for justice for Michael. We must confront systemic racism and police violence head on."
