That guy was routinely great. Not above average or even very good, but great. And he was routinely great on routinely shitty teams. There was a 4 year stretch where he had 1883 yards, 1500 yards, 1553 yards, and 2053 yards. In his 10 years he only rushed for fewer than 1300 yards once and that was for 1115 yards. If he'd played for Dallas or the 49ers there's no telling what the record books would look like. He was the Jerry Rice of RBs.
