Fair or foul? (MVP Race Talk)

Since the MVP is awarded for a player's performance during the entire season, not just the last 35 games of the season, Harden will win.

Think you just made a case for the only man to put up back to back seasons with a triple double.

Btw, have an interesting record for you. Knowing how you like regular season records and all.

OKC is 6-0 since Brewer got put into the starting lineup.

Weren't you laughing at the fact that they added Brewer?

Looks like they found their Luc Mbah a Moute.

Uh ohhhhh

Double double, you mean? Sure he can get 76 assists in the next 9 games, but will he have 113 rebounds? No way.

Hardly. Brewer is an even worse 3-point shooter than Russ (hard to believe), at 27% this season. At least Mbah a Moute is a decent 36%.

Yea, because they need him to be a three point shooter...

Why not? We know Russ can't shoot threes for shit, even though that doesn't stop him from putting up bricks every chance he gets.

If Brewer supposed to be Mbah a Moute, why is he #347 in the NBA is defensive real +/- and Mbah a Moute is #19? Not much of a comparison.

He's not the most consistent, but he did match Harden last year in 3pt%.

31% shooting from 3-point range for his career is "not the most consistent"? Really? And no, he didn't match Harden last year. He almost did, not quite.

Westbrick made 34.3% of his threes last season, the best of his career! Harden only shot 34.7% from 3-point range last season, the worst of his career!

.4 is close enough to consider that matching.

Only a dummy would disagree

How every NBA fan outside of HOU feels....

Prove us wrong....

Only OKC fans (and you apparently) still think that Westbrick is better than the true MVP.

You know what's funny? Russ is practically averaging another meaningless triple-double, and guess what? He's not even in the MVP discussion!

Harden will finish in first, LeBron in second, and Davis in third. Lillard will likely finish 4th, and maybe Russ will be 5th if he averages a triple-double.

That's because idiots like you only look at stats.

It was what he did with that team he had. Oladipo was a shell of himself and Adams was their second best player. Without Westbrook they were probably a bottom 5 team last year.

The triple double was just the cherry on top.

And in all honesty, Lebron should win it again as much as I hate to say it. Then Harden, Lillard, Davis.

If Harden wins it over Lebron it's only because of the teams' record. Which is the laziest way to determine an MVP.

CLE has went through so many changes and was without their second best player in Love for a while.

Outside of FT%, points, and steals, LeBrons numbers are better. He will also have played in all 82. The most Harden could play in is 73.
