CMJ
"But (Locker's) a kid who could learn from a guy like me,'' Collins said. "Hopefully he'd watch what I do and take lessons." #titans 18 Jun via TweetDeck KC is a good sport. If he wants a chance to compete for the starting spot and that's what it takes to sign him, so be it. I can live with 4-5 games of KC or until he gets hurt or sucks ass, then we can give Locker a shot. I'm sure lessons will include the art of adding a little Captain Morgan to the Gatorade when the coaches aren't looking.
amyinsparta
If it's one thing KC has, it's a high regard for himself and his talent! I still say they are not going to hire him.
WG53
I hope we don't bring KC back. I don't think I could stomach seeing him throw away 50% of the passes into the ground or stand in addition to being made to fumble by air, repeatedly, during crunch time. IowaOiler
KC is a vet who has been through the extremes of the NFL. High draft pick who got fired for saying some things he shouldn't have, took a team to the SB, played for the Raiders, then led us to the best record in the league....I would bet Locker COULD learn a lot from him. I think his comment had more sarcasm aimed at VY than in vanity.
AvgJoe
Collins would be a great mentor and by all accounts is a good person for a young QB to learn from. But Locker will be far greater than Collins ever was
Dmeade-
Watch what I do and take lessons? Collins already sounds jealous of Locker. He would be a terrible mentor.
