Yet another historic game for Jalen Green (or Kevin Porter Jr.)

Only two players in NBA history have accounted for 91 points or more in a game (points scored plus points off assists), Harden and Chamberlain (104 points total). Now Harden is the first to do it twice, accounting for 91 points Sunday night after accounting for 95 points in a game last season.

Dont be an ass

Didn’t you learn from your suspension last time, Simple Jake?

For the discussion, if Capella can show that double Eurostep play a few more times,  it will give the Rockets 4 legitimate scorers which puts them equal to the Warriors.. anxious to see the developmen

And he doesnt flop like a bitch to get calls.

No, Westbrook only selfishly pads his rebound numbers (which his teammates freely admit to allowing) so he gets more triple-doubles all the time. While most guards in the NBA, or any other league, let their frontcourt teammates get rebounds to set up fast breaks. That's the job of smaller, faster players to run the fast break while taller, slower players get the rebounds and pass the ball up court.

And if his teammates are cool with it, why are you bitching about it? Stop being a fucking hater. Reigning MVP.

So it's OK to hate a cancer like Howard who won 3 consecutive DPOY awards and was once the greatest big man the NBA had seen since Shaq, but not OK to hate a selfish player like Westbrook who drove Durant out of OKC and forced him to seek a championship elsewhere?

Thunder fans are delusional if they think Westbrook or Melo are going to help them win a championship. Paul George will be the first player to sign a big contract somewhere else next summer when free agency begins. Russ and Melo deserve each other, neither of them will ever get a ring.

Whats funny is Russ is better than Harden and PG is better than CP. Yet you still believed yall would have a beter chance. Haha. Such a hypocrite. You're delusional if you think old ass CP3 and Harden alone are bringing you a ring in the next 3 years. Even if PG goes elsewhere.

You obviously haven't watched a single Rockets or Thunder game this season, have you? Westbrook has been terrible, his shooting is almost as bad as your boy Lonzo. While Harden continues to look like the real MVP for the fourth year in a row. You will see who is truly delusional here once CP3 returns.

And I hope CP3 comes back better than ever (which wont happen) because yall are still going home in round two.

The Rockets are already playing great right now, they won't need much from CP3 when he returns sometime next week. Hopefully the only reason they will be going home after round two will be to host the WCF, but we'll see whether or not that happens a few months from now. If the Thunder even make the playoffs, they'll be one and done then both George and Melo can sign with contenders next summer.

Harden, who doesnt play D will never win MVP. You're the delusional one.

We'll see. He just became the first player in NBA history to make six or more 3-pointers in five consecutive games. No other player has done that in more than three straight games.

Lol. That mean jack shit. You and your meaningless records.

You know what is? averaging a triple double.

So Westbrook averaging a triple-double last season means everything in the world, even though his team was one and done mainly because of his 4th quarter meltdowns. And even though Harden's team beat his, and he is also responsible for 2 of the 3 most points accounted for in a game (points plus points off assists) in NBA history, not to mention all of the other historic games he's had in the past two seasons, these are all totally meaningless only because Harden failed to average 10 rebounds a game last season.....

And Westbrook isnt close to being the 3 pt shooter Harden is.

About the smartest thing ever posted here by Simple Jake.

Let's say Harden is slightly above average throughout his career from 3-point range.

What does that make Westbrook? A better 3-point shooter than say, Lonzo Ball?

And despite this enormous discrepancy, Russ is somehow clearly superior in your estimation.

The only thing Westbrook is better at than Harden is rebounding. And putting up gaudy stats.

Harden didn't have an historic night (for once), but Chris Paul did have his 38th career game with 30+ points and 10+ assists, which is the exact same number Michael Jordan had during his illustrious career. Of course James Harden will probably have at least twice that number by the end of his record-breaking career. But for those who think triple-doubles are the most important stat in basketball, Westbrook now has more triple-doubles in a calendar year than any other player in NBA history which must make him the best player who ever played the game.....

This is how a real team performs in the 4th quarter, unlike OKC or LA. The Rockets set a shot-clock era record for the largest margin of victory (21 points) while trailing by 5 points or more after 3 quarters.

They outscored Utah 37-8 in the last 10 minutes of the game for their 14th consecutive win.

This n***a so obsessed with Westbrook. Love it.

All that really matters is Westbrook and Harden will both finish with 0 rings.

Which makes most other stats irrelevant.

Harden is the better scorer, Westbrook is the better overall player.

He is already #1 in the NBA in FG efficiency, and if Capela played 30-35 minutes a game like most big men with his skill set do, he would easily be in the top 2 or 3 in rebounds and blocks too.

Their big 4 of Harden, CP3, Capela, and Gordon don't get all the respect that those guys with Golden State do, at least not yet. The Rockets already beat the Warriors on their own floor opening night, and the next two games they play will be here in Houston. Their current 14-game winning streak has the be one of the quietest in NBA history. They have won 20 of their last 21 games, if not for the loss to Toronto they would have a 21-game winning streak right now.
