your Lakers will in the loaded Western conference, assuming they make the playoffs.

That was only 2 months into the season, when they were playing well. The win against Houston was a gift, Christmas came early for the Lakers.

But at 29-30 they are far from being a lock to make the playoffs. And both the Celtics and Sixers are pretenders, neither of them will make the ECF.

No one is currently saying they are a lock. But I'll still say they make it.

Only team that will beat BOS is TOR. BOS will def be in the ECF if they face the others.

Boston will almost certainly end up with the #5 seed behind Milwaukee, Toronto, Indiana, and Philly. How are they getting to the ECF?

Kyrie Irving is killing the Celtics right now. They're 6-0 in the last 6 games he missed, in their last 12 games with Kyrie they have gone 4-8.

At least his team will make the postseason, unlike his former teammate. LA needs to finish 15-4 to have any chance of making the playoffs.

Their record is pretty good against the better teams in the East. I dont think PHI has even beaten them this year, but I could be wrong. They've held their own vs  MIL. No one will fear IND in the playoffs without Victor.

Who else is left for them to worry about other than the team you saw me quote?

So they might beat the Pacers in the first round, then what? You think they will get past the Bucks, then either Toronto or Philly in the ECF?

Whatever, they won game 1 then lost the next two and now the Bucks got back home court advantage. You're a regular Nostradamus, huh?

You said both the Rockets and Sixers were going to lose in 5, but Philly is up 2-1. And Boston is in the exact same situation that Houston is.

First person to predict a series ends earlier than it actually does I guess.

Of the 8 teams left in the playoffs the Celtics have by far the worst chance of advancing right now. Even Houston has a much better chance.

If GS continues to shoot 25% from 3 Houston should win. The fact the last two games were as close as they were shows the Hou players are right about needing to player better.

Just for the record, as a Lakers fan, I couldnt be happier BOS is on the verge of being ousted.

Who would know it by the way you hype the Celtics all the time like a Boston fan? Kyrie's former teammates will be glad once he's gone.

My ability to be unbiased recognized the quality of their team. I saw what kind of force they were last year and had no choice but to feel they would be better adding Kyrie and Hayward.

Some guys can't put aside their emotions and play a game. Oh well. They aren't putting any more distance between them and LA this year.

I think they would be happier to keep Kyrie and to get out of Gordon's contract. Media makes the Kyrie issue bigger than the players do.

Of course the Celtics would love to get out of Hayward's $128M contract, but they're stuck with him for two more seasons.

Unless he opts out next summer giving Boston $34.2M in cap relief, but that ain't gonna happen. Adding those two didn't do shit.

For the last 5 years self-proclaimed experts like yourself keep saying how great Boston will be next season, but it never happens.
