The Banana Boat could be coming to Houston, even without Carmelo.

Lol

The way things are falling apart in Cleveland right now, where else would LeBron go? Los Angeles? Don't make me laugh.

He is going to beg the Rockets to sign him this summer, probably well below market price. Why wouldn't he want to come here?

And yet they beat GS by 1 tonight.

When yall get beat by OKC though and dont evwn make it to the WCF for the second straight year, he will pass.

If LeBron wants a ring, and the Rockets can get rid of Anderson, there's no reason why he would consider going anywhere but Houston.

How is OKC going to beat the Rockets anyway? Last year they got destroyed by Houston losing 4 games to 1 in a series that was far more lopsided than you admit. The Rockets beat them by an average score of 112.8 to 104.2 (or 8.4 PPG), by contrast when the Rockets lost in five to the Warriors in the WCF the average score was 108.6 to 100.4 (or 8.2 PPG). So you tell me, which team dominated their series more?

I noticed you stopped by but didn't comment on this. I bet it sucks being so damn wrong all the time...

You tell me how it feels. Don't you notice that even though it takes you 5 minutes to respond to my posts I make you wait?

Keep smoking crack and go on thinking LeBron will go to the Lakers. The reason I didn't comment is because there's nothing to comment about.

Now you have both Joe Johnson and Brandan Wright choosing to join the Rockets rather than the Warriors.

You can't blame anyone for wanting to play on the same team as the 25-1 (and counting) big 3 of Harden, Paul, and Capela.

Who? Neither of them offer anything. Why the Rockets think they need em says a lot, actually.

They're simply there for depth, the Rockets don't need them. The only reason they signed here was to try and get themselves a ring.

But they won't succeed.

Starting the season 25-4 and going 16-2 since they lost 1/3 of their rotation in late December/early January is certainly a sign of success.

If they didn't go 2-7 with all those injuries the Rockets would be on pace for 71 or 72 wins right now. Your blind hatred of them is comical.

Then again, sports is looking more and more fixed. Wouldnt surprise me if HOU wins after the Astros won given the flooding and shit HOU endured. Not at all. Yall still arent better than GSW though.

So that will be your excuse if the Rockets win the title, even though you guaranteed that Harden would never get a ring or win the MVP.....

I agree.  Joe Johnson is old and pretty washed up at this point.

Is he the player he was 10 years ago? Obviously not. But the Rockets already had good depth before they added him and Wright.

Johnson gives them 4 very good defenders on the wing now along with Ariza, Mbah a Moute, and PJ Tucker.

Even though he was shooting poorly in Utah before he was traded, he was dealing with a wrist injury early in the season.

He hit 41% of this threes last season and 38% the season before that. He will get lots of wide open looks with the Rockets, he's far from washed up.

Don't forget that that so called deep team is currently harboring 2 ex Lakers and you also used one to get CP3.

Even if the Rockets depth wasn't exceptional before the start of the season, it definitely is now since they added Johnson, Green, and Wright.

The guy who played 67 games at center last season for the Lakers is now buried behind Capela, Nene, and Brandan Wright on the depth chart.

You can hardly claim Ariza as an ex-Laker, he barely played more than one whole season in LA. So, are you guys gonna re-sign IT this summer?

Barring injury or foul trouble Johnson nor Wright will do anything in the playoffs.

Of course Wright won't make much difference, he's the 12th player in their rotation right now barely ahead of Tarik Black.

Go ahead and dismiss Joe Johnson all you want, but he's averaging more than 8 PPG for them right now. He gives them truly legitimate depth.

16-15 is barely a winning record, even though the Rockets are 2-2 in the Finals they will be 3-2 the next time they get there.

Is this honestly your best argument? Jesus dude.

I bet you'd also rather be some poor joe only losing a dollar from a gas station scratch off than a high roller who can afford to lose big money at the casino. Just being able to be there (exponentially) more matters.

There is no way you possibly think 4 appearances is in any way a better thing than 31.

That is some really bizarre analogy there, but I'm not the one siding with Simple Jake here either. Unless you just got tired of arguing with him which I fully understand. His debating skills leave a lot to be desired as does the fact that his love of the Lakers force him to continuously live in the past.
