You can say the exact same thing about a lot of players in almost any sport. Is Drew Brees the product of the system he's in? Was Kurt Warner?

Haha fuck no Brees is not a product of the system he's in. Warner, possibly. But he did have three solid years in ARI before retiring.

What about Luc Mbah a Moute? You said he was terrible before last season, then he looked great in Houston. Is he a product of the system?

Luc was always a good defender. Never said he waa terrible at that. Offensively, prolly. And yes, yall will miss his defense throughout an entire season.

So wait, he's not? No, the Rockets will miss both him and Ariza terribly and will struggle to win just 50 games. Is that right? That's your opinion?

Yea, adding Melo and losing those two will hurt your defense. How many times you want me to say it? And when the fuck did I say you'd struggle to win 50 games? Stop fabricating shit.

You're the one implying your are better than last year, so are you saying you'll win more than 65? I asked that a few days ago. Why you ducking....

Michael Carter-Williams sucked last season in Charlotte, then Houston signed him for the minimum just like they did with Mbah a Moute.

He's looking great so far with the Rockets just like Mbah a Moute did. Go figure. Maybe being surrounded by great players makes a difference?

What exactly did Luc look great at besides defense in HOU? Please tell me.

And we're are talking about MCW during preseason, during practice, really?

I thought you said Melo made yall better? Why does Vegas disagree?

They have the Rockets winning 57 games and the Lakers winning just 48, so adding LBJ only gives the Lakers 13 more wins this season.

And losing Ariza, Luc, and adding Melo and the others gives yall a -8 difference.

Lmao

Lakers = Progession

Rockets = Regression

71 in a half. 100 through 3 quarters. 131 total.

Ouch. Melo outscored by MCW. Both shot 35% and 2-8 combined from three. (Here comes the attack on second year player Lonzo...)

Smdh.

Stros took a second straight loss after talking shit on social media. We'll hear about the "bad call" on Altuves almost HR. But HOU still ended up taking the lead so....just excuses after that...

But I'm sure I won't hear from OF unless LA loses tonight....

So good news is I prolly don't hear from him until Saturday. But HOU better pick up that D come Saturday if he wants to come back around anytime soon.

What regression? It only took 10 games for Melo to lose his job to one of the most unheralded rookies in the NBA right now, Gary Clark.

He's probably one of the best defenders in this year's rookie class. The Rockets defense is actually better now than is was last season.

Lmao. God are you a dumb homer. Melo didnt lose his job because of Clark.

Hes shooting as bad as Lonzo did last year but hes supposed to be some great surprise? Lmao.

He might play better D, and that's good for yall. But Melo lost his job because of what he is/isnt, not because of what Clark is.

You were right about the Rockets bench being so poor at the start of the season, but it has improved dramatically over the past few weeks.

They had guys like Melo, MCW, and Marquese Chriss getting minutes early on. Then injuries caused them to go even deeper into the bench.

Rookies like Gary Clark and Isaiah Hartenstein were forced into action, and both of them performed quite well in their first NBA season.

Then they added Brandon Knight to the rotation after a 22-month layoff, and as you would expect he didn't perform all that well either.

Things really improved when they added Danuel House, and after that they got even better when Nene returned to the lineup to back up Capela.

But the biggest addition has been Austin Rivers who they picked up after they lost CP3 for about a month. He was a huge signing for Houston.

Once Chris Paul returns later this month James Ennis will have a difficult time staying in the revamped rotation, unless they want to go 10-deep.

Paul, Harden, Capela, Gordon, and PJ Tucker will be starting with Rivers, House, Green, and Nene as the primary backups. Plus Ennis, if needed.

They might even consider starting Rivers and then let Paul come off the bench since he already plays PG with the 2nd unit. That could work.

A bum ass like Melo wouldnt come off the bench. You really think CP will be fine with sitting in favor of Rivers. Please.
