Democrats Flip 2 Oklahoma seats in Deep Red Districts

Just state legislature seats but it's worth noting that one of the seats, HD75 was won by 22 points in what is traditionally a safe Republican, rural district. Only posting since the Republican circle jerk over Ossof barely losing an election he should've been crushed in, was touted as some kind of achievement.

In Senate District 44 in south Oklahoma City, voters selected Democrat Michael Brooks over Republican Joe Griffin. Brooks will replace ex-state Sen. Ralph Shortey, who is facing three felony counts alleging he solicited a 17-year-old boy for sex. Shortey is scheduled for a preliminary court appearance on July 25

Shortey is one of the Republicans being replaced.

It's a good start. Oklahoma is a mess.

House District 75 looks more like a 4.64% win to me.  A whole 95 votes.  But hey, a win's a win.

The 9+ point win in Senate Dist. 44 is more impressive IYAM.

Neither is anywhere near 22 points though.

Too bad neither win really moves the needle on the supermajorities in both houses though.

My only fear is how much damage can the Russians do in 2018?

Likely tons. They know Trump will never, and really can never hold them accountable lest the spotlight fall back on him. They have every incentive to fuck with us and Trump has done nothing but embolden them.
