Paul George to Thunder

How do Lakers fans talk shit? Lakers have been probably the worst organisation in the NBA for the past 5 years. I'm a Bulls fan and that's why I mostly keep myself quiet lol

Well the simple answer is because of 16 titles and such a rich history.

It's understandable you feel that way since your entire organizations success came from one era and one player.

But when you have had success through multiple decades, it's easy to still talk shit.

The long answer is it depends on who we are talking shit to. I wouldn't talk shit to Cav fans or Warrior fans, even Spurs fans. But just because HOU made it to round two they are untouchable because LA currently isn't a playoff team? No sir.

No different than Cowboy fans who have been doing it for 20 years while only winning 2 or 3 playoff games in that span. At least we have a couple titles in the past decade, unlike them...or the Rockets....

The backcourt rotation of Chris Paul, James Harden, and Eric Gordon is now 2nd to none in the NBA. Even better than GS.

lol crowning them before they even step on the court together. Give me Steph and Klay over Harden and paul all day. Steph and Klay are the greatest shooting backcourt in the history of the NBA that we know can play together. What do we know about the Rockets?

Paul is not staying with y'all past this year.

That's entirely up to the Rockets whether they want to keep him or not. It was his decision to come here in the first place.

Paul wanted to sign a long-term contract with Houston, but the Clippers saved the Rockets millions in the trade.

He was all set to sign with Houston for more than $25M/year, so there's absolutely no reason why he won't in 2018.

The likelihood of CP3 re-signing with Houston next year is far greater than Paul George signing with the Lakers.

Just like the Browns, Dolphins, Bills, Rams, and the 49ers. All that success all those years ago that no one gives a shit about today....

Both Curry and Klay are better defensively than Harden and both score more than CP3.

Gordon might be better than anyone in their bench but that doesn't push CP3 and Harden past Klay and Curry.

Curry's no better defensively than Harden is, that's a fact. The only reason he isn't exposed as such a weak defender is because he's surrounded by great defenders like Klay, Green, Durant, and Iggy. You surround Harden with 4 great defenders like that and no one out there would be saying shit about his defense. Luckily for us, there's almost no defensive drop off with CP3 replacing Beverley.

Now y'all about to go get Melo and add to the all NBA NON defensive team.

The only way Melo is coming to Houston is if the Knicks buy out his contract and he signs here for the $3.3M bi-annual exception.

Then he can backup Ariza and replace Lou Williams as the bench guy who scores a lot of points and refuses to play any defense.

But they've already said they're done signing free agents, except for veterans who will sign for the minimum who want to get a ring.

Besides, they're better off paying Anderson $20M/year who plays some defense than getting Melo for $26M/year and zero defense.

He's far more likely to end up with the Lakers who need someone who can score, otherwise it's more and more top-3 picks for LA.

And have any of them even bee to a conference championship game in the past decade let alone winning two titles, No?

You act like the last time we were winning was the 90s.

Lakers have won more in the last q0 years than your Rockets. Face it. It's fact.

Do me a favor and look at those facts.

30 more steals than Harden for Curry and 100 less tunrovers.

He is top 10 in defensive win shares while Harden doesn't even make the top 20.

Also Curry is 1st in player efficiency while Harden is at 8th.

Those are the true facts for your ass.

Curry is better ALL THE WAY AROUND.

Lol. Paul George or an aged Me lo. Tough choice.

LA has been rumored to land Me lo for like 7 years now. Hasn't happened and won't. We aren't looking to get old.

Its funny you blast me for my homerism at times but youre are doing the same exact thing except worse.

Harden is not in Currys league and doesn't deserve to be talked about as if he is.

Back to back MVPs. Harden got beat by lil Russ.

The big difference is Curry actually plays defense. People say his defense sucks but that's because he isn't guarding teams top guard. Klay handles that. Curry plays solid D. No defensive drop off with CP3? You do realize he is a 9 time 1st team defense? You upgraded the defense bro lol. Learn about your team.

Exactly.  Check out the lack effort.

Even Harden acknowledged it, but the homers won't.

No, the Rockets got their future starting PG, not a 1-year rental. How is Beverley the Rockets' future starting PG?

Paul left LA to get past the 2nd round, something his old team never did (or anyone else recently in LA for that matter).

Bullshit
