If you are looking for gripes, they are to be had with every single thing about both. IMO it's really about what hardware works best for you and what size phone you are looking to keep in your pocket. The Verizon rep that sold me my S8 said that every time he's due for an upgrade he switches to the other. I imagine that would be pretty cool to do as in 4 years things can change pretty drastically with the phones, features, and operating systems. Makes it more worth the upgrade. The stock email app is much better than the one previous LG's came with. Only complaint about the S8, and I'm sure ill get used to it, the notifications are very very small text. There's no home button, it's incorporated into the screen which I really liked. I played around with it for about 5 minutes and I would be just fine with the feel of the operating system. It is also super fast compared to what I have now. Porn is going to be pretty epic on that screen too. the phone itself is gorgeous.
