House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes To Step Aside From Russia Probe

So Nunes is now conceding that he’s facing an inquiry from the House Ethics Committee and is blaming “left-wing activist groups” for making “false and politically motivated” accusations against him.

How ironic is it for Nunes to accuse ANYONE else of making “false and politically motivated” accusations, given his track record lately. As far as the "left wing activist" slant, so is he saying it was the Dems who forced him to make a secret trip to the White House, abuse his position, and lie about his actions? And all this time I thought it was that lillywhite Paul Ryan that sent him to the White House..

It really doesn't mean much that he stepped down.   Conaway and Gowdy are more than capable of running the investigation.  The important thing is Nunes exposed the inappropriate surveillance of Trump and company.

No, she did worse.

Part of her job was going over intelligence reports. If in order to understand the context of those reports she needs the names of people mentioned then that's part of her job and completely legal.

For some reason, you can't seem to grasp the idea that if Trump staffers were not mingling with known Russian operatives, they wouldn't have shown up in the surveillance reports.

Also, while you are harping about wire taps and inappropriate surveillance, the Trump admin is repealing internet privacy laws, attacking net neutrality and now even wants Twitter to  unmask an anonymous critic. That's the unmasking you should be worried about.

My god, it it ALWAYS about deflections.

It's all they have left. Everywhere they turn simple logic is directly against them. There are no logical arguments to even be made.Their position is so untenable that they have to constantly play defense and their only tool is the deflection.
