OILERMAN
Trump has two real enemies that he has to truly worry about: Himself and the Republican party His problem with himself is he's so stupid and a flat out liar and can't stop himself. It's not a good combo to be stupid and have the habit of getting on social media to prove it constantly. Turns out making ridiculous promises on the campaign actually matter. Hillary will be locked up, we'll build a wall and Mexico will pay for it, we'll cover everyone and make it more affordable, we won't touch medicare etc.... oops(sorry suckers). He's already failed twice at the Muslim bad and won't get his health care plan passed either. He's a loser too He's already losing Republicans, especially the people who rely on Obamacare. He's also losing more reasonable people who voted for him. Getting on the national stage next to other world leaders and looking like a total Buffoon turns people off. Can Trump make it 4 years without the Republicans deciding they need to get rid of him and run a real candidate in 2020? No way. Trump would get destroyed in another election. How long before some of the board's Trump supporters turn on him?
pat
Republicans are definitely offering up Trump's head. Comey's testimony contradicting the POTUS was startling. No one will follow Trump's example, it's too embarrassing.

OzTitan
Abandoning Trump still relies on some common sense at some point, and I don't think that can be taken for granted.

I think he has 90% of their support publicly because they still view it as in their best interests to do so. Behind closed doors though, I think that's a far different story already. CreepingDeath
This probably deserves its own thread, but whatever: http://www.npr.org/2017/03/22/521133929/house-intel-chair-trump-aides-swept-up-in-legal-u-s-surveillance Republican crying about how the leaks need to be prosecuted turns around and becomes a leak himself to protect his party. Priorities are obvious, and America is definitely lower than the well-being of his political party.
