Jonboy

Recommended Posts

After a holiday break, the guys are back to wrap-up the 2016 for the Titans. Although 9-7 was the final record, the team missed the playoffs based on the division record tiebreaker with Houston. Jonboy, Jamal, and Scotty breakdown what went wrong against Jacksonville and the significance of the Texans win. The second half of the show focuses on what lies ahead in 2017 for what looks to be a team on the rise.

thanks for the podcasts this season boys, has been enjoyable listening to fellow fans reactions through the peaks and troughs of the season.

the match day podcasts seemed to have worked really well.

hope you guys do a live podcast during the first round of the draft, would love to hear the live meltdown if something crazy went down like taking a WR at pick 5, could have our own Kendall Wright/Justin Hunter moment live on air.

Were you listening back when we drafted Warmack? We did a live episode during the draft and @Cyrus was on too. You could just hear in our voice the disappointment. That's the only draft show we've done live though. I'd like to bring it back.

no didn't hear that one, this year sets up well to go live just before our first pick and run it up to our second pick.

Thanks for the podcast guys, I love reading and thinking about the Titans and you guys always give me a few points to ponder. I worry a bit about Mariota's ruggedness, I hope we consider a developmental QB behind him. It will be exciting to see this offseason, JRob in full control, the draw of a 9-7, first place team on the rise with a franchise QB to help entice free agents. The other positives are becoming too many to list, but I think two big ones are the draft and our two first rounders and the consistency of the same coaching staff and same philosophies on the offense and defense.

The Texans are cursed by the fact the believe O'Brian is a QB whisperer and can make chicken soup out of chicken poop. Hopefully Indy keeps their coach and GM, because that will ensure Luck has a lack of talent under performing around him. The Jags will have a new set of coaches and will be trying to adjust to that. The future looks bright! Go Titans!

What if they trade up, wouldnt have enough time to get started if a surprise trade happened, or a trade back for that matter. IDK, never ran a podcast.

Here's an unusual (and unfortunate) fact about the Titans' season:

Titans had a winning record (4-3) against playoff teams....and a losing record (4-5) against also-rans.

They beat Miami, Packers, Detroit, KC and Houston (gimme). They lost to Houston and Oakland. 5-2 overall ... 4-2 in competitive games.

Oakland, the only team they technically didn't beat, would have been the matchup in round one.
