Hang on now..... CJ has not fumbled once, not all of his carries went for negative yards, every time he carried the ball the clock continued to run. On passing plays he's only been called one tim

Someone ban this cunt. Now we have someone worse than Rass

CJ was a total bag of shit after he got paid. The people who defended him all those years made fools of themselves.    The 2011 season he got paid before is one of the worst seasons by an NF

If they refuse to ban ManningEnvy then what's the point? That guy has been here forever and he's just as bad as any of them. Use ignore.

It is fun to reminisce with some of the old posts. I was always a huge CJ2K supporter, I'll never forget one play he made against the Texans.

It was the week 2 game in 2009 and he lined up at WR and no one bothered to come out and cover him. The easiest 69-yard TD ever made.

CJ was incredible and abused here for no reason at all. He took big money and the team promptly decided they didn't need to invest in the oline/te/coaches. We had terrible QB play and this was the several years into the beginning of the "pass sets up the run" era of football. We also changed blocking schemes during this time.

One of the more productive receivers out of the backfield during this time as well. Nearly 10k yards.

The going sentiment was that he was "afraid" ... yet he'd still have big days with high carries and no breakout runs. Didn't make logical sense but satisfied people's emotional response so it was impossible to argue reasonably.

henry runs very very similar in style to cj btw... if he didnt have his size, there'd be a lot complaint around here that Henry doesn't do shit unless he busts a big run. That height and weight gets him those tough yards. The stiff arm makes up for the speed difference in the open field.

CJ sucked after he got paid. Started running like a straight bitch. its a real shame too because its a complete misnomer he wasn't a between the tackles runner. He ran with power within the box unlike most guys with his speed.

As I was reading this, I pictured him literally doing a 180 as he approach the line on runs where there wasn't a lot to gain. He definitely stopped wanting the contact.

You can think what you want. But nothing proves that. Lowering his head at LBs and DBs plenty. Still had big games plenty.

CJs problem was he thought he had to break a big run every single play and that's what he tried to do... unfortunately for him he didnt have the short area quickness to juke from a stand still, or really in the backfield. He's a one cut zone runner with crazy wheels that can cut sharply at full speed.... he tried to be Barry sanders/ Dante hall and didn't have the ability. ... we also switched blocking schemes (zone/man) and it confused him in where the holes were.

Losing the best RB coach we ever had so fisher could bring in his buddy didn't help either. .. he didnt have that guy to coach him up and tell it to him straight in how he should be running , that Eddie George guy for Derick Henry.

add all that with a shit oline and ZERO passing threat.... and you get CJ trying to be the everything.

maybe he tried to protect himself some in the backfield - I didn't see it. He definitely didn't play soft once he had positive yards on a run

Denali died?  I know he was all in on the orange, so it would make sense for him to get a Herman Cain award.

I'm probably thinking of someone else with a similar name. *edit- it was Dmeade RIP
