Uh-Oh, Trump's Thin Skin Is Pierced!

I love all these responses about relaxing and give the guy a chance.  Republicans stonewalled everything that Obama did and held the country in limbo for 8 years and now we need to just forget that and give the guy a chance.  How convenient.   It's in the same vein as Trumps acceptance speech.  He campaigned on hate, separation and division and then comes out and says that we all need to come together as one.  You can't have it both ways.

What bullshit...I find those comments to be regurgitated crap from network media...

The guy wrote clinton cash works for the campaign too now.  They all have ties to the Mercer family.

It's just another reason no one should take ANY of those sights seriously.  It's poison for the soul and we've all been drinking from the well.  The vitriol we've built for one another based on our hate and fear of the other side....

Breitbart, Drudge Report, Huff Post, Salon and all those other sites are simply a reflection of our fear and hate and the lengths we are all willing to go to (including suspending our own belief in reality) in order to be right and feel justified.

It's politics and politics are dirty.  Hopefully, now that the dirty stuff is over we can actually get back to the business of running our country and talk about all the stuff the Repubs can get done in the next two years before the Dems get a crack at the midterms.

I have to agree with the other poster though, getting your news from those sources says a lot about what your willing to accept in journalistic credibility.  People don't go to those sites for news, they go to those sites to feel good about being "right" and get confirmation to their own bias.

Again, it's poison and I hope we can all move on now that the election is over.

I see it a little differently from you. I think it's fine to read those sites, or watch FoxNews, Chris Matthews, whatever, as long as you fully understand that you're watching or reading opinion based news. I enjoy FoxNews, I'm a Republican, but I also realize Sean Hannity is a completely irrational, one sided crazy person. But I enjoy some of his interviews.

The problem is when you get hard core zealots on both sides who take this stuff for real news & it becomes their gospel.

... or if you get hard core zealots running a campaign and it becomes, by definition, their gospel. It's hard to take them more seriously than employing them and relying on them.

Take them very seriously

are people really too dumb to believe that wasn't sarcasm coming from Trump?

Sadly, way too many people don't recognize his sarcasm.

But having gone to many of his rallies and speaking with the audience members, and speaking with everyone that I know that support him, I can assure that the people that voted for him recognize it loud and clear.

And his sarcasm is hilarious.

The problem is that it's not extreme anymore. It's become mainstream and I can point to the vitriol just on this board as to the proof of the damage it's caused after years of poisoning the well. We paint the other party as the enemy and traitors and then act surprised when people protest in the streets or believe conspiracy theories.

Spot. I have plenty of Republican friends and colleagues and we get along just fine. Thats the norm when you live in a big city. What scares me is the belief Dems need to shift further left to combat the right. That line of thinking is dangerous and only leads to a widening of the gap between the parties.

LOL!!

Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He expresses his opinions.  OH THE HORROR!!!

I would have liked to have seen him say "Let them eat cake", but what he said will do just fine.

He will learn.

President can't respond to and comment on everything and shoot from the hip.

Time for people to move on. Give Trump a chance. Riots solve nothing. People need to get over themselves, and go to work to make this Country better.

Yep.

But this thread isn't about that.  This is not about protesting, it's about Trump whining about the protestors.

These people protesting, if peaceful, that's fine.  But they need to grow up, get over it, and get to work on changing things or making the country beter.

But our President-elect also needs to grow up.  Unfair?  Fucking a, Donovan McNabb had to put up with 10x worse and handled it with class and he's a fucking quarterback just playing a game.

So protestors - you lost.  grow up. get over it.

Trump - you won, you got what you wanted.  Grow up.  Get over it.

But you've got Denali demeaning the protestors while cheerleading Trump.  Who is the adult here?  Who just got elected leader of the free world?

Sorry some of us don't get the Super Secret special sense of humor Trump applies and that we are supposed to instantly recognize.

Me, I just go by what people say.  How can you get sarcasm from a tweet anyway?

Pretty sure when you are President, when you don't REALLY mean it, maybe it is not a good idea to put it in writing to the whole world.

Like I said, he will learn.
