It's sad that we've gotten more entertainment from this little draft game the past few years than we have the team on the field.

I had a top 20 grade there a few weeks back but it looks like that's gone, but yeah, I usually try to trade down then use my extra second picks to get a second/third pick in the first round. Having fu

I would be ecstatic with the first 4 rounds of this. Hated to ignore the defense, but the value was too good to pass up on the offensive prospects.

The last pick screwed me up. Where he was rated as a 2nd rounder, I thought for sure he would be an A+ in the 6th and boost my overall score. Guess now...

Not bad for attempt 1. If we got Tunsil, Elliott, Doctson and Miller, our offensive would go from bare cupboard to cup overflowing. We also get a lot of highly solid linebackers. Would need to sign FA players for the secondary.

Looks like trading down if resulting in much higher grades (based on the scores you guys have).

I tried another no-trade one...I didn't even intend to draft all OSU players at the start, lol. Maybe we could snag Urban as part of this deal, haha?

@jtworsley

I try to draft as close to our actual needs as possible. I think their pre-determined needs for us are halfway accurate, but sometimes they make me scratch my head.

For example, idk how the hell they get off giving you an A+ for drafting a QB in the first round after we just drafted Mariota. Even if the guy is a good value according to a draft ranking, he's horrible value for a team who just draft a QB 2nd overall the year before.

It's a loophole in the game that I exposed (being that the object is to get the highest possible score). Essentially the game grades you on the overall value of the player regardless of your team's situation.

Yeah. I like it for educational purposes. I wouldn't know who most of these players are if I didn't screw around with it.

Still, they should add variables for team circumstances if they want it to be as realistic as possible.

Last year, they would penalize you for taking the same position twice, regardless of how much of a value the pick was. Not sure why they stopped
