A lot of parent's are really annoying, they expect everybody to bend over backwards to accommodate their kids. Take them to a football game? Some people are going to curse. You don't like it? Don't bring em. 3 weeks ago I went out to a nice dinner, an expensive dinner, and a couple had their 2 kids with them & they were screaming & wailing at the top of their lungs. Finally some woman of about 60 asked the parents to take the kids outside or leave, they were trying to enjoy their dinner. Everybody was aghast. 'MY GOD.....THEIR KIDS!!!! Everything revolves around kids". Fuck that. This lady paid a lot of money, like I did, to enjoy a nice steak & some wine. The operative word is enjoy, which she obviously didn't. Parents need to stop burdening the rest of the world with their kids.

I'm completely with you there.  As you know I have a young daughter and I don't want to take her to a restaurant because I HATE when I'm trying to eat and some kids are screaming and the parents won't shut the kids up.  Some of them don't even think it's a problem.  There's nothing more annoying at a restaurant than screaming kids and then parents who do nothing about it.

I have a simple rule for misbehaving kids in public who are annoying me.

I take a few moments to observe the situation and see how the parent(s) is reacting.

If the parent is not appropriately addressing the situation, then I do it myself.

My issue isn't with the kids acting out.  It's when the parents do nothing about it.  I've given my share of dirty looks but these people don't have any idea that their kids are interrupting other people's dinner and entertainment.

I took my daughter out to a couple of restaurants and she was fine but the minute she starts wailing we'd leave.  Obviously she's too young to understand but when she's old enough she will know you cannot act out like that in public.

Parents who don't try to stop their kids from acting out in public is one of my biggest pet peeves.

I seem to remember a few Titans dancing and celebrating after sacking Cam.  She, like a lot of salty, hypocritical bitches on this board, must have missed that on Sunday.  I seem to remember Icky Woods doing a dance in the endzone that was just a long or longer than Cam's celebration so he must be a horrible, egotistical, disrectful guy as well.

Just admit you are lying. I'll tell you why.

 

1. Anyone who has ever had kids understands no matter how well behaved they are they will act out for any number of reasons from time to time. A good parent understands this and corrects the behavior.

2. If you were actually a parent you would have spoken to a scenario either you are your wife experienced when trying to relate. You went to "my wife's grandmother..." which is laughable and tells me you don't have a clue. It's even more comical to suggest kids can't go out until they've been instructed properly. If that were true kids under 5 would never show in public.
