  1. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned. The Browns have been interviewing OL coaches. Considering their current OL coach is Bill Callahan who is supposed to be one of the better OL coaches. This might mean that if Brian Callahan is hired, his dad might be joining his staff. Also, from 2012-2014, Bill Callahan was the Cowboys OC under Jason Garrett and improved the offense from 15th to two consecutive top 10 seasons.
  2. It's funny because the same thing was said about Fisher having every team wanting to hire him. There were even rumors that as soon as he became available, Jerry Jones would hire him. It just goes to show you that if a HC is national media friendly, they become an extension of his PR team.
  3. He probably got it wrong. It was supposed to be "One Love"
  4. This is an interesting point. Thinking about it. As a DC, we forget that Vrabel was not considered a great DC or even coached great defenses. Everyone basically said he would be a better HC than DC because of his leadership skills and being a "leader of men".
  5. Against the Ravens, Watson's first pass is a tipped pass and pick-6. He goes 1-9 in the first quarter. 6-20 in the first half and then goes 14-14 in the second half. If that 14-14 passing gets him on the track back to his 2020 form, the Browns are going to be tough in the AFC.
  6. Watching that game. He was getting beat at the snap. Always off balance, terrible mechanics and for a guy who has been in the NFL since 2019, it doesn't appear that he's spent any time in an NFL weight room.
  7. Exactly. The rookie QB made the right read. It was a bad throw because he didn't set his feet and tried a jump pass. He will learn.
  8. This moron still thinks he has the bully pulpit of the POTUS. All this name calling and whining from his personal peanut gallery is nothing but false bravado and has no impact on his legal troubles. Only his loyal followers believe this gibberish.
  9. Even if he won the 2020 election. Today, he would be whining that the swamp, deep state, liberals and witch hunts took years off his presidency and he should be given another four years. It never ends with this guy.
  10. I'm still here! Thanks for asking. Now that I have grand kids and have been travelling more than usual, I have been reading more and posting less. Also, I realize that Trump was correct when he said, he could shoot someone and not lose voters like LittleEarl and others. So, with that in mind, there isn't much to debate in the offseason.
  11. The question I have is will Kelly change to the EP offense he ran in Houston or merge the EP offense he ran with the Texans with the Titans offense or will he continue the Shanahan version of the WCO offense that Matt Lafleur and Arthur Smith left? These offensive philosophies are very different. With the EP offense, the QB makes the OL calls, blitz pickups and has full control at the LOS. It's a difficult offense for young WRs and QBs. With the WCO, the QB does not have the same control at the LOS. In fact, it's a simpler offense to run. Watson is going from the Houston offense to the Browns WCO and had this to say: "I think the biggest difference is I think in this offense like the quarterback takes control of it but coaches have a lot of responsibility on it too. So in the previous offense, the quarterback did everything. I called the MIKE points, I called the run points, I called the protections. I'm flipping the protection sliding here, I'm calling hots, everything. In this system, it's basically built in, so when you come up the line of scrimmage, you're not really doing that. You can see it, but pretty much the center is directing everything, you just gotta make sure you see the right coverage and it's kind of- it's more simple in a sense, but simple is not always the best way to go sometimes, because you might get sidetracked, whatever you were supposed to be looking at in that certain play." 12. It's interesting reading the opinions on Schwartz. Anyone remember when there was great debates over his heavy zone coverage scheme. Whether Jerry Gray would have been a better DC and why did Fisher allow Schwartz to go from Williams' aggressive, blitz happy defenses to what Schwartz was running? I guess he improved or times have changed. BTW. What happened to Jerry Gray?
  13. Even with a core of Watson, Deandre Hopkins, Will Fuller and even Lamar Miller. BOB and Kelly never even fielded a top ten offense. No to either one of them.
  14. LOL. Sad. You know your dad and you still can't understand that you're an idiot because the best part of you stayed on the sheet, the car or the floor where you were conceived. If you're old enough to be a grandfather, with your angry nature, you're probably a fat slob eating high blood pressure pills like Tic Tacs. I get it. Regardless of quality. You are one of those posters who define their self-worth by the number of their posts. So, you run up your post count with a bunch of angry, gibberish. Mission accomplished! Good job, sir. No response needed.
  15. LMAO. Good talk. I see you have reached your maturity level and struggling to express yourself. Get off this forum, find an anger management class and someone besides your mom who can tolerate your idiocy.
  16. Speaking of embellishment. Exactly who is drooling or saying, "yeah, that's what we need". Are you so stupid that you don't realize that even if they signed Minshew, he is not going to get starting QB money? That he would have a "prove it" deal and would make less money than Tannehill? I guess kids today don't understand context. Bless your heart.
  17. Seriously? Instead of whining about a guy reviewing games by different QB. Get off your ass and find another breakdown. What is your scouting report or opinion on Minshew that the Texans should sign or no sign him? BTW. Use that fancy dictionary to spell Google.
  18. Exactly where in my post or the video did you hear or read sign him? Lol...Reading comprehension.
  19. This guy does a great job reviewing QB play. I know it's only one game and it's from his time with the Jags, but here is a very good unbiased analysis of Minshew. How Good is Gardner Minshew? - YouTube
  20. Texans' fans want to wash away the stench of Deshaun Watson and keep pumping Mills as their QBOF. I just don't see it. They grade him on a curve because he's not Watson, but that guy stinks.
  21. When Aaron Rodgers was drafted. The Packers had coaches who were able to analyze and change his mechanics. I'm not sure anyone on the current coaching staff can help him rebuild his mechanics.
