  1. Warren would be a fine VP. Policy wonk kinda like Gore was at the time. Could help party unity but doesn’t help Biden’s biggest weakness right now which is his age
  2. Or Biden runs for one term with her as heir apparent? With his age I could see that
  3. It’s a lot worse than that. The other teams pg, tripped on her own laces. The refs hated her and called everything in his favor. The scoreboard operator was bribed AND he still had to hit a half court buzzer beater- which he did with a his closed in fear. I think it may have even hit a light in the gym ceiling before somehow going in...
  4. So they know how much you hate them and think you’re better than them? Or do you try to hide it and let your real feelings out here?
  5. I completely agree. Look at how the Republicans recovered and learned from 8 years of Obama. They obviously learned their lesson and quickly solidified around a reasonable, moderate candidate that united the party and reached across to swing voters... Dems should definitely look to copy that model.
  6. You are here: Home / 2020 Campaign / Kamala Harris Dominates on Voter Curiousity Kamala Harris Dominates on Voter Curiousity March 19, 2019 at 4:50 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard 6 Comments “Google provided The Washington Post with U.S. search data since Jan. 1. It pools similar searches — Bernie, Bernie Sanders, Sanders, etc. — into buckets, which it then tracks. Search totals are relative to one another, with 100 being the peak interest in any of the candidates. That peak came with Harris’s initial announcement.” “She also got another spike a few days later, corresponding with her kickoff event in Oakland. That secondary event itself generated more search interest than any other candidate except Sanders or O’Rourke.”
  7. Dems say this but I don't know that its true. I think the Republicans did everything they could to tear each other down too. I mean.. didn't Trump some how link a candidate to an assassination attempt? In the end, they didn't hold back. They just coalesced around Anti-Hillary pretty strongly. Hillary just never able to pull the party back together. That's a prerequisite of a successful candidate of any party. She had a lot against her, but its really irrelevant. She didn't do it. The candidate needs to have that ability after its all said and done.
  8. That's been my take. She tried hard to capitalize on the "Me too" movement and it came across as opportunistic rather than genuine passion. She would need to do something to make herself distinctive.
  9. At this point, she's at the top for me as a potential. I need to do some deeper research on their differences. She has charisma and strength that I like. I like the idea of a woman candidate and she's the only one that I really think is viable. I am waiting to see how they do and how they differentiate themselves. I am interested in what comes out about them and how they handle it. I am interested to knowing more about how they make decisions and what ideas they bring out. Right now they way I have them grouped is: (No particular order) Interested Biden Former Rep. Beto O’Rourke, Gov. John Hickenlooper Sen. Kamala Harris Pete Buttigieg Trending Down Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, Sen. Cory Booker Sen. Elizabeth Warren Not interested Sen. Amy Klobuchar Sen. Bernie Sanders Julian Castro Rep. Tulsi Gabbard Who? Gov. Jay Inslee Marianne Williamson Andrew Yang John Kevin Delaney
  10. I’m intrigued by him. He does have an interesting balance. It would also be the first time I’ve voted or supported a presidential candidate younger than me. 😉
  11. Beto and Warren are opposites for me. I like Warren's policy ideas (though I am not sold on breaking up the tech companies). She just doesn't have the charisma and personality chops to win. Beto seems to have all the personality and charisma but I have been underwhelmed by his policy/ ideas.
  12. Iraq war veteran woman from Hawaii all sounds great until you look closer. Then the closer you look, the weirder she seems.
