Chris Jones.....
Jaylon Johnson, Sauce Gardner, Charvarius Ward, Patrick Surtain, Jaire Alexander, Jalen Ramsey, Trevon Diggs. Whats the argument for being better than these guys? More APs, PB, higher PFF grades. Sure hes got good numbers for INTs and sacks but the full scope of play does not put him in tier above any of these guys. Idk if he is even in the tier with some of these guys.
I've never said we are talentless. We just aren't oozing of top tier talent like some are making our roster out to be. Improved? yes. Improved enough to win 9+ games? TBD. I see us being a 7-8 win team. If Levis is the man sure we could win more, but if he isnt the man idk how we win more than 7-8. If he ends up sucking ass we could be picking in the top 5 picks in 2025 draft.
We all should feel much better about where we are going right now, but we aren't there yet. I don't mean to rain on the offseason parade, but the reality of it is we are a 7-8 win team unless Levis comes out and plays well. I think there are going to be some ups and downs with Levis.

What the Titans did at WR this offseason speak way louder about what they think about Burks vs words

I have been voicing my opinion of your stupid take since before most people chimed in.
You have been walking it back trying to save some face for days now but can't flat out admit it so you have to resort to calling people sheep.
Idc if my takes are popular and unlike you I also don't shy away from a take if it is popular. You are so obsessed with being the outside the box guy you don't care you are talking some bat shit level crazy stuff.

What's funny is the house and the Attorney General have bent over backwards to avoid charging him and impeaching him. He should have been charged with way more

That’s in addition to the fake $50M debt he had that was discovered by the financial monitor assigned to the Trump Org by the financial fraud judge a few months ago, which was another instance of tax fraud

I'd guess the current Titans staff would have never drafted Burks with their analytical approach.
QC and Meathead simply saw a big WR who could run fast

What will they ever do without Meathead out there with a pad going through drills himself

Running 22 MPH doesn't really mean a lot. Short area quickness and the ability to create separation are way more important for a WR. It's what Ridley is so good at. Burks is a long strider who can run fast for his size but it takes him a long time to reach top speed. He was able to easily beat college opposition, He was even more of a gadget player in college vs a true WR.
Here is some alarming stuff on Burks coming out
Burks’ long speed was not the issue that made his combine performance so concerning. It was his explosiveness and short-area quickness.
In the vertical jump, Burks leaped 33 inches, a mark that ranks at the 20th percentile all-time among wide receivers.
In the three-cone drill, Burks recorded a time of 7.28 seconds, which ranks at the 8th percentile all-time among wide receivers.
The combination of those two numbers puts Burks in extremely ominous company.
According to Pro Football Reference, there have been 39 wide receivers in combine history to post a vertical jump of 34 inches or less and a three-cone time of 7.25 seconds or more.
Of those, only two (Anquan Boldin and Chad Johnson) have gone on to enjoy successful careers, making up 5% of the sample size.
Most players who perform at such a lackluster level in both the vertical jump and three-cone are not even considered draftable.

Those type of defenses don't work anymore anyway. It's too slanted towards offense and the qb's can usually diagonose it easy and just get the ball out quick.
