  1. Great first half by Tennessee. Disappointed with our running game but defense and special teams pulled it out in the end. Good chatting with you all, good luck going forward.
  2. That is a real concern. Bears had problems covering speedy backs like Gibbs catching the ball last year. LBs are good but coverage hasn't been their strength.
  3. Good chatting with you all. Time for the players to put up. Good luck with the rest of the season.
  4. We shall see if the Bears can run the ball and stop the run vs Tennessee. As far as where they'll will finish the season, would guess about 8-10 wins. I do not expect much from Caleb in early part of the season. That's why I think they'll protect him and be run heavy and use bootlegs/play action to throw. Tennessee has made some really good moves in the off season. Happy Bears are hopefully playing them before they have time to jell as a team.
  5. Willing to take that bet, they won 2/4 games with Bagent mainly because of run blocking by the line. We shall see soon enough. Hopefully will be entertaining and not a penalty fest.
  6. I think the middle of your d-line is stout and I don't really see Swift as an in between the tackles runner. I believe Tennessee has the advantage there.
  7. Yep, will help bring the new offense along slowly. I expect the passing game to struggle early.
  8. I'm pretty confident in the Bears run offense & defense. Both were top 5 last season. They are running the same defense and they retained their offensive line coach.
  9. I'll take that bet. The one thing this line can do is run block. Unless you have all pro DEs, I'm not worried. Bears will be running at the edges.
  10. I see your point but he has been in the spotlight as the first real NIL athlete and has handled it well. Most media narratives about this kid have been wrong. I had major concerns about things that were reported before the draft. From his "attitude" to reports he would demand a trade or part of an NFL franchise ownership were completely wrong. I like what I've seen from him so far. He seems to be a leader and very goal oriented. Now time to see if he can be a franchise QB.
  11. I have zero problems with him crying because he lost a big game. I hope he is that emotional after a tough loss in the NFL. I've seen plenty of players that could care less if they won or lost as long as they are paid.
  12. Yeah, Cutler had a lot of potential but just was never able to minimize his mistakes and the team never really set him up for success. I feel much more optimistic with the leadership they have in place now. I guess time will tell.
  13. Absolutely, Chicago is centuries behind that thinking. We haven't had a passing game since...never. I feel like we are just waking up to the fact, this is a passing league.
