  1. Thanks but I can't take credit for it as I found it on another board...
  2. I think during the game the announcers mentioned that the Chargers were, indeed, 11-1 all-time against the Titans...
  3. With Carr getting benched today...maybe JR should get on the horn to Oakland to seek a swap for Mariota. As the timing might be right & given Gruden's praise of him in the past...
  4. With the Chargers poor O-line...Simmons might well be a difference maker today...
  5. So...I'm curious...how do those "retards" differ than those who think the Titan's offensive woes are just at the QB spot...lol!
  6. For many, it starts from the "Mariota is the problem" narrative which then they just ball everything else into...
  7. I think he will wreak havoc & help to transform the entire unit...
  8. Sadly, given his idiotic defense of his decision to kick that FG yesterday...I think to only way Carter gets fired is when/if Vrabel & the rest of the coaches are shown the door...
  9. Mike Sando of The Athletic uncovered at least one reason for Mariota’s continued struggles: “The familiar part appeared under the column for touchdown passes,” writes Sando. “Mariota had zero (vs. Jaguars on Thursday) for the 22nd time in 58 starts since entering the NFL in 2015. That’s seven more than any other quarterback over those four-plus seasons. It’s the most for any quarterback in his first 58 starts over the past 20 seasons. Mariota has 19 starts without a passing or rushing score, six more than any quarterback since he entered the league. The recently benched Eli Manning is next.” https://clutchpoints.com/titans-news-nfl-executive-explains-why-marcus-mariota-has-fallen-short/

  11. Ugh...yes Davis missing camp was a problem. But the point I was trying to make is for "experienced" depth, someone definitely made the wrong call to cut Levin (who was/is competent) in favor of Douglas who doesn't belong on an NFL roster...
  12. I just wanna know who made the call to keep Douglas over Levin? I mean, neither are world-beaters by any means but at least Levin looked competent the few times he started last season.
  13. Yeah, I understand that but thanks anyway Captain Obvious. But, it's just that I'm not certain that RT is truly any better than the other QB's who will be available after the season. As...to my point...until he starts and can show he can be effective in this offense, neither do you or anyone else here...
  14. Wow...so you really think that a "bridge QB" is what JR & Vrabel should aspire to/settle for next season? In what world would this make any f'n sense for a team as talented & clearly in the "win now" mode as the Titans are?
  15. OMG are your serious right now? If you read through the comments made in this thread...many posters have suggested that they feel RT should be extended & have made this assertion in a wide variety of threads prior to this one. That, I guess, is based on something RT did against scrubs in the preseason or maybe just because his name is not Marcus Mariota...who the fuck knows. So, all I was questioning is, how can RT even be remotely considered a future option by so many so often here, when no one knows how he'll do if/when he does get a chance to start in this offense. I mean, given the sheer volume of the "RT should be the starter" comments that have been made (and continue to be made DAILY) makes your apparent lack of awareness regarding them is truly pathetic & embarrassing. As are those who stupidly suggest, as many as you "retards" have, that given the talent level on this team & their desire to "win now", that a "bridge QB" should even be a consideration at this point...
  16. LOL..I think some of you need to pump your brakes. As, a more prudent approach might actually be to see how RT performs in this offense (against more than just scrubs) before anointing him "the automatic answer" to the Titan's problems at QB. I mean...are some of you forgetting that the Dolphins gave him 7 years to prove he was "that guy" too before determining he wasn't & they'd had enough...
  17. Given their easy schedule...the Pats could very well go undefeated this season...
  18. It's simply Oman hinging his bets to limit the crow he'll have to eat if Mariota's play continues to uptick...
  19. Uh...jughead, I hate to point it out but that's true of every WR, TE & RB on the team. So, yeah, thanks for the insight lol...
  20. To be sure, whatever the Titan's defense is or isn't at the moment...the arrival of Simmons will have a tremendous impact...
