Anyone know how to pin bookmarks to left side of Chrome?

I searched and found many forums where posters stated they wished it could do this.

Anyone know if it can be done in Chrome. Kind of like IE allows you to pin the Favorites Center all along teh left sideboard of the browser or Firefox lets you do?

For example, if Chrome's Bookmark Manager could be pinned on the left, so it shows on every tab versus just one separate tab as it does by default, that would be ideal for what I want.
