I bet that’s a lot less than a lot of QBs. Maybe I’m wrong and he’s switched his style. I haven’t watched him this year.

I haven't watched him much this year. I did see an article talking about him throwing short a ton at the start of the year. As for the rest of the nfl, I didn't do the math yet for them.

I want to see the Titans put 40 on the score board the first half.  Fuck the Colts.

Titans are coming off a shocking upset against a highly-touted Super Bowl team where nobody gave the Titans a chance.....and now they're going on the road against a supposedly flawed opponent.

Colts bout to get torched. Davis: 33 rec 7 td 547 yds

Get back to me on that. I’d like to see those stats.

That’s interesting. The new coach must have changed his style, because Luck used to push the ball down field more than the massive majority.

I was suprised by the amount of short passes in general.

Also,  the numbers they gave were by team, not qb, so some may be off a little. Like mariota I added gabbert and his atempts together. Didn't take the time to check each teams backups. Didn't seem worth the time.

The new NFL is running a ton of spread. To counter the lack of blockers they’re designing short throws more than ever before, especially as it comes to WR screens and simple drag routes.

That explains in (a big) part why he's been sacked so few times.

Part of it was his shoulder and part of it was the coaching to prevent him getting sacked so much.

I find the stats interesting as well how they’ve been pumping up his Oline. Any line looks good when your QB is throwing that short over 60% of the time. Let’s see if we can blanket the underneath and our guys can get home. I know Casey is for sure licking his chops.

Super quick.

I’m hoping in the offseason Evans and Landry do a lot of work together. If Evans can teach Landry his spin move and Landry can teach Evans some of that balance it’s going to be a really nasty 3rd down set from the outside.
