Critics were stunned that President Donald Trump skipped a visit Saturday to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in France – where U.S. war dead were being honored – because of rain. They zapped him with a a series of tweets showing Barack Obama in downpours honoring those who fought in wars in what was bound to be particularly galling to the president. As many as 1,800 American soldiers killed in the World War I battle of Belleau Wood are buried in the French cemetery. But Trump ditched his planned visit and stayed in his hotel room because of unspecified “scheduling and logistical difficulties caused by the weather,” according to a White House statement. Winston Churchill’s grandson Nicholas Soames, a member of the British Parliament, blasted Trump as “pathetic” and “inadequate” for failing to show up. If he wasn't born into a half billion dollar fortune he would have been the biggest loser. Now he's just a loser with a billion dollars and a seat in the Oval Office. This really comes down to his supporters and not him. He is what he is - a clown. A little kid should be able to see it and any adult who cannot has serious problems. Perhaps I am missing something in this, the only ways an adult cannot see that President Trump is a conman clown is: 1) almost non-functioning intelligence, 2) not dealing with reality (either conspiracy or religious nut) 3) highly gullible or 4) so partisan that one really does not care that President Trump is the antithesis to what a President should be and just openly lies in one's support for him. 1 is likely not the case as someone with very low intelligence would not even pay attention to politics. Of 2, 3 and 4, I am not sure which would be the majority. 2 and 3 might be the same.
